Reviews for Royal Western Nova Scotia Yacht Club and Marina
Great facility, 2014-08-03
Captain: , Fredericton (275)

This is a great facilty. The docks are very well kept, there is fuel, power and water available, the protection is great and the people are wonderful. All of that is highlighted by the fact that you are right downtown in Digby. Wonderful area to visit.

2012 Visit, 2012-09-18
Captain: , Stuart Fl (300)

This is a very nice placeto visit. We were there for two nights in August. THe RWNSYC marina is run by volunteers from the Yacht Club. The marina committe is responsible for transients. They are very friendly and helpful. Dockage is very reasonable. The 25 foot tide change is impressive. It is bestto plan an arrival on incoming tide since the current through Digby Gut is quite strong - 4-5 knots at peak. The town is easy walking with several good restaurants and lots of tourist shops.

Great Location, great marina, 2010-04-18
Captain: , York, ME (1880)

The marina is right in the middle of a great walking-around town, with plenty of shopping and restaurants just steps away. The docks are well-maintained. Cabs can be had if you need to venture further away, which is a great idea if you can stay a while. The Digby Neck and St. Mary's Bay area are fascinating, with lots of history, lots to see and do ashore, and good cruising grounds.
