This yard has cared for my boat needs for over 20 years. They are experts in all needs and phases of boat maintenance and repair.

Excellent Yard, 2016-06-02

Great staff, well managed, personnel actually know what they are doing. River must be transited at slack or near hich tide. It's worth the effort. Old style Maine yard.

Royal River Boat Yard is First Class, 2015-08-24
Captain: , Kittery Point, ME (101)

I recently purchased a boat that was stored here. Before I launched and took her home I spent a month working on her. The RRBY personnel assisted thoughout the entire process. From clean up, parts, electronics service. prop service, mechanical systems service to launch the crew worked in a timely and professional manner. I always felt (even during a very busy haul out season) that my boat was a priority. I'll sum it up by saying that I would use them again in a heart beat and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring service, storage or a stay in scenic Yarmouth, Maine.

The boat yard also did the bottom painting. The work was excellent, they used thier standard bottom paint (Petit Ablative - I think) and a year and about 100 hours later it still looks great. The work was neat and thorough and reasonably priced. I would have them do it again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This yard can do it all. Very cooperative and knowledgeable in all aspects for servicing, storing, and maintaining all types of boats. Large and small, gas and diesel, power and sail, fiberglass, wood, and steel.
They shrink cover over 300 boats on site. They are constantly busy but are very accommodating.
I will defiantly store my boat here and have them perform all service on my 45 ft sailboat.

Royal River Boatyard, 2013-05-19
Captain: , Kemah, TX (124)

Now we have stored our boat here for five winters and have had quite a bit of work done by them including diesel repairs, outboard service, and shaft replacement. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The parts/supplies department is well stocked or can get almost anything overnight and is reasonably priced on most things. It is still a family owned yard which we have found to be very friendly, helpful, hard working, competent and fair. You will get great help and service by phone - but they are not really up to speed with internet communications - call don't eMail.

Very Clean, Newly paved yard, has fuel, ice, full service repair, travel lift. Usually has space for transients. Only fuel dock in the Royal River.

No contact, 2012-06-17
Captain: , Corpus Christi (65)

Wanted to have my 34' Islander Sloop pulled so I can do some DIY below the water line work. I called the owner and sent an email three times per his request. No answer, no reply. Drove over to the yard. People seemed nice. Lots of on site services. Not sure why I was never contacted. Had to go elsewhere.

Great Customer Service, 2008-07-23

I got some work done at Royal River. They were very customer service oriented. Explained what the issue was. Discussed the various options. Did great work also. I will go there whenever I need work done in Casco Bay.
