Reviews for Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club Dinghy Dock
CAUTION Thieves fingers are getting stickier......, 2016-05-13
Captain: , Palm Beach Gardens, FL (1897)

Be careful I had my oars that were attached to the inside of my RIB stolen here this morning when shopping at Maxwells. My outboard is locked to the RIB and the RIB was locked to the dock. I have used the dock several times in the past but not again - use the dingy dock at Mangos etc.
Also heard of other thefts including two RIBs in the recent past.

Very convenient for Shopping, 2015-12-11

The dock is walking distance convenient to several places including Maxwells, A&K, Bristol and etc.. Taxi's are generally waiting here as well.

Good dock close to the stuff you need, 2014-03-24
Captain: , Great Falls, VA (1092)

Great dinghy dock, could stand to be a bit bigger with as many people who tie up here, but I wont be one to complain about a freely offered dinghy dock. I have not experienced any problem with locals asking for tips to watch the dinghy as reported in some other reviews. Though you will always see plenty of locals hanging around, the ferry docks here! And local kids seem to use the dock to swim off of rather often, more power to them, public dock means its theirs too!

Thanks to RMHYC, 2013-05-22

Good dingy dock close to shopping three or four blocks away. Lots of locals hanging out nearby but we did not encounter any problems. Needs better trash facility. Bags of trash were stacked on pier. Without this dock it would be a hassle to replenish goods. Thank you RMHYC

Still beset by vagrants, 2013-04-05
Captain: , Vero Beach (527)

Men are still loitering here to cadge tips for watching dinghies. Others just loiter. Dinghy dock across from Tupp's is not nearly as nice, but it no one loiters there.

Nice but crowded, 2013-02-15
Captain: , Wiscasset ME (1435)

A very nice dinghy dock just off the ferry dock. Easy walk to shopping and services. Dock can get crowded so use a long painter. Very shallow at low tide but not dry.

new dinghy dock, 2012-02-26

This is the location of the new dinghy dock that was built for the boating community by the Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club volunteers.
