Yes - For members only.

Yes - Public heads available, plus much nicer member heads. Potra-potti in the parking lot.

Yes - Limited groceries available in the marina store. Beer, chips, microwave stuff, the usual junk food. For as slightly better range of options there's a market about 7 miles to the North. If you are a picky eater your best bet is to bring your own victuals.

Yes - Some hardware available in the marina store. Possibility of much more hardware with the maintenance guys, who are very helpful.

Yes - Simple, small bar. They frequently throw events for the marina members (like halloween parties).

Hotels or motels

Yes - It is reported that there are hotels nearby. Rumor has it there is a resort on the SouthWest side of the lake.

Repair capabilities

Yes - They have a very helpful maintenance group onsite.

Haul out capabilities

Yes - They will launch & retrieve from dry storage for $30 round trip. They have a gigantic tractor that should be able to launch pretty much anything, even keelboats if they don't draw too much (more than 6ft?).

Storage facilities

Yes - Fairly secure facility with locking gate.

Fishing supplies

Chartering capabilities

Internet access

Yes - Cellphone coverage is spotty. Your mileage may vary. At the marina itself is reported to have mixed results. Ditto in the various coves around the lake. If you need marina services use the VHF, or call while still out in the middle of the lake. Parking lot (on top of a hill) has decent coverage. Dry storage not so much.

Boat ramp availability

Yes - Ramp is kind of a backwoods looking affair, but it works.

Yes - Free golf-cart shuttle between the parking lot and the marina. It's a long hike otherwise.

Other services

Lots of campgrounds nearby. Beautiful Sonoran desert. Otherwise, not so much.

Reviews for Roosevelt Lake Marina
Great staff, Nice facilities, a good home base for exploring the lake, 2011-03-26

I am a marina member (I keep my sailboat in dry storage). I have been there for about 4 years and have always found them to be friendly, efficient, and customer oriented. The marina is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but it has enough facilities to keep most people happy for brief periods. I used to rent slips for overnights, but lately I've been anchoring out in the various coves. The rental slips were big and reasonably quiet. Highly recommended.
