Reviews for Rod and Reel Restaurant Pier
NICE WATER VIEWS, 2015-07-26
Captain: , PALMETTO FLORIDA (40)

Stopped here for dinner a couple of months ago. Food was good, not to pricey. Worth stopping here at least once. Very friendly staff, and very busy on the weekends.

Good eats neat place, 2014-03-30

freshest seafood I have had dinning out. Will go back next time I'm in Bradenton.

An Island Gem, 2013-07-27

A fun spot everything on the special board is fresh. Good food fun staff, open anchorage so watch your weather. Really is a must if your passing by.

Worth a try, 2013-06-18

Stumbled upon this place about a year ago. Very cool atmosphere and decently priced tasty food. Will be visiting again!

Great Place, 2012-11-16
Captain: , Stuart Florida (280)

Rjode our bikes from Parrot Cove Marina to have lunch and were pleased with the food and service. Not a real big place but fantastic views. Took the FREE Trolley back to Cortez bridge. Just put your bikes on the rack and off you go. Trolley is best way to see Anna Maria Island

Great food, friendly staff, challenging dock, 2011-12-27
Captain: , Orlando (23)

Grouper sandwich is worth the stop. Really only room for one boat to tie up at the dock. Restaurant is on the end of a pier and if the wind and waves are from the East (as it was when we visited yesterday in our Precision 185) there is a LOT of boat movement to deal with when securing your boat to the dock.

Rod & Reel, 2011-09-21
Captain: , Georgetown, Maine (144)

Nothing fancy, but great grub at reasonable prices. In season, there is often a wait (Jan-Apr).

Great (super-casual) Restaurant, 2011-07-31
Captain: , Twin Dolphin Marina (271)

This place is a bit of a dive, butthe food is fantastic, and the service is extremely friendly. The pier itself is usually crowded with folks fishing, there is an extremely small, exceptionally salty bar downstairs serving $1.50 beers in plastic cups. The restaurant itslef is on the second floor. It's a bit salty too, but the views are great, and the seafood is about as fresh as it gets.
