Reviews for Riverside Yacht Club
Friendliest People Around!, 2013-06-20
Captain: , Avondale, PA (448)

This is a yacht club that caters to smaller boats - in the under 40 foot range, but the other marinas/clubs in the area were full on a Friday so we made arrangements to stay here with our 45 foot trawler. There was plenty of water but the finger piers were short and low so we needed a ladder to board our boat. A member loaned us that ladder. In addition, the club only had 30 amp shore power but the friendly folks tried unsuccessfully to get us the 50 amp feed we needed. There's not much within walking distance to the club but a member loaned us his car so we could drive to dinner. (If you ever land in Ashtabula, Hil-Mark's Restaurant is a great place for a seafood dinner!). The members also invited us to a get together at the end of the pier.

The folks at this club were the most welcoming and helpful I've encountered anywhere.
