Reviews for R. C. Maritim de Barcelona
Real Club Maritimo, 2016-10-01
Captain: , London (251)

Not the cheapest marina but well equipped and helpful satff. Located at the bottom of Las Ramblas and the whole of Barcelona is on your doorstep. Can by noisy on a Staurday evening when the YC holds functions, but it is not overly intrusive. Berths nearest the bridge are open to any swell from the outer harbour. Bridge opens on the half hour, call ahead on VHF to confirm your arrival and you will be met by Marinieros.

Two clubs here!, 2016-01-15
Captain: , Continuous cruising (61)

Just to make it clear that there are 2 clubs in this corner of Port Vell. We can't speak for RCNB which is slightly N of this marker, as they didn't reply to our enquiries. RCMB on the other hand is a delight. Rates are relatively cheap (accepting that all of Catalonia marina prices are high) and the club is very welcoming. We've been here in September and again over-winter and been surpised at how very quiet it is. You do get some swell coming in, plus wash from ferries etc. but it is reputedly the safest place to be in a storm.
The main point though is that you are practically in the heart of a fantastic vibrant city. We love it.

Expensive and Bad service... City centered., 2015-08-04
Captain: , Bonaire (346)

Barcelona marinas are unfriendly, noisy and expensive... all said. Discoteches, and tourist atractions... thats all... Unaffordable and unsustainable for a city as Barcelona. This is the Royal Marina. The name says it all! http://www.rcnb.com/ An elitist institution for Regattas and that's it.
