Reviews for Queenborough Yacht Club
the only place to wait for the tide., 2016-04-15

If you want to visit London than this is really the only place to wait for the tide. Stayed here the night and bar from a local bar there is nothing to do here. Staying on the buoy can be exiting. Woke up during the night due to a strains sound. Turns out that a massive tanker was passing me just meters away.

great place to wiat for the tide, moorings we used were in good condition and there are a couple of good real ale pubs in the little town wich was a bonus.

Although Queenborough itself seems to have little to offer, the moorings are strategicly important for waiting of the tide to change when traveling the Thames or Medway.

Expect someone to come out in the morning and demand 9 quid for using the mooring.

Te best place to wait, 2010-02-21
Captain: , Yachtcentrum Dintelmond (623)

The best place to wait for the tide if making for central London
Perfect for a tidal stop for cruising the thamesriver
