Reviews for Queen City Yacht Club, Inc 1889
great people and view, 2015-05-23
Captain: , Mimico (50)

Fantastic view of the city and super friendly people. Be careful when entering...it's shallow to starboard so stay to port.

Been visiting there since I was a kid. Even got a good reception when I visited with a canoe. Never had a bad time. What yacht clubbing should be.

The city view day and night is fantastic, 2012-03-03
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

We've been going to QCYC for over 20 years and consider it our sister club.
Great facilities, best pig roast on the lake.
Night views of the city, simply stunning.
Great launch service to Queen's Quay.
Recent renovations have eliminated many of the med style docking practices.
Updated showers are awesome.
Book ahead as they are usually near full or full up.

Super friendly club, with nice facilities. Only drawback is Mediterranean style moorings, making mooring challenging for single-handers.

Best Yacht Club on Lake Ontario, 2007-04-19

A member for 40 years so quite biased! However, If you prefer VERY rolled back, friendly, sailing folk, with a bit of an emphasis towards sailboats, then this club is for you.
