Reviews for Queen's Lake Club
Great place to visit..., 2013-01-09

If you're looking for a cheap slip in the Williamsburg area, Queen's Lake is a good place to start. The members are all very low key, and there is a sunset cocktail gathering during the season on the dock. The channel can get shallow during low tide. This is an excellent place to ride out a hurricane, as the topography keeps the wind high. We rode out Irene in a 30' catalina without issue. Facilities are lacking, however. This is really meant to be a neighborhood marina for locals, although all are welcome. Security is decent, there is an automatic gate that requires an electronic key, however neighborhood kids have been known to hang out at the pavillion at night.
