Reviews for Queen's Cove Marina
My 3 Buoys, 2016-07-31

Great place to stop. Gas prices are lowest we found. Great help on the fuel dock. Groceries were a short walk away. Lovely pool and showers.
On A Dock,
Wifi a little weak and the breaker for the power kept tripping which became a little annoying. We stayed two nights.

Excellent fuel dock service, 2016-07-21

We only needed fuel and a pump out, but wished we could have stayed. Excellent service, best fuel price around. Sean, on the fuel dock. was very attentive and took care of everything we needed to get us on our way again.

New Management has things working well, 2016-07-13

We arrived here after some tiring days on the Trent-Severn looking for fuel, pumpout and rest. We had already made reservations when my wife read the reviews as we neared the marina and we were hoping for the best and we got it. We were met at the fuel dock by courteous and knowledgable young men, assisted to our dock and offered the benefit of local knowldege. The docks were of the fixed type and in good condition. There was no weed issue as they have a boat that mowes them on a daily basis. We draw 5 feet and had over 8 at the dock.

After sharing with them that their reviews did not really represent what we were finding, they shared that there was new management and much was being done to make the whole experience much more enjoyable. The boaters here are among the friendliest and most helpful we've ever met.

I'd give them five stars but there was substantial voltage drop at the end of the dock where we were and the wifi was a little weak. Give them a try, I don't think you will be dissapointed

Excellent facility & services for boaters, 2016-07-12

great stop for Loopers & transients coming to Georgian Bay. First stop off of the Trent Severn Lock 42 - friendly staff and excellent service for boaters.

Mechanical skills are poor onsite. Glass work is decent. Docks are in very good shape. Marina store has small section of cleaning supplies and some other items, not a great selection.
Diesel fuel is coloured (farm gas), but the price for it is decent.

Weeds are a BIG issue in the marina. I've seen gas engine boats get stalled from being tangled in weeds (the bigger diesel props seem to do better).

Dock hands are almost non-existant. I ended up moving my boat because service was poor and the gas dock wasn't staffed often and when it was staffed, they wouldn't help grab lines many times (making it really hard to dock my 47' boat on their 40' dock single handed!)

For the most part, a very good group of boaters there. I still boat with many of them.

Top notch marina. Family owned and operated, with high standard for reinvesting revenue into facilities. Many coverd slips, washroom facilities conveniently located close to each docking area, marine store with fair selection. Very good marine tech on site.
