Reviews for Quayside Marina
Nice less touristy location!, 2015-08-05
Captain: , Portland, Or (40)

Spent 4 nights here. Very nice non touristy spot (if that's possible in Vancouver in summertime). Only issues where when someone jumped the marina gate in the middle of the night and stole my bicycle which was next to my boat. I replaced it the next day and a few hours later my girlfriends' bike was stollen in the middle of the day locked up downtown next to the mall! Only other issue was when the harbor master decided he needed to turn off all the water in the entire marina! He said there was a stage 3 water restriction which means no washing of boats or cars. He offered to briefly turn back on so I could fill my tanks. I said I would prefer it to be left on and assured him I would not wash my boat. He insisted that he couldn't do that, and said, "how would it look if they saw us washing the boat". Again I said I wouldn't wash the boat! He continued to refuse. Next day he told me he was wrong and turned the water back on...

Good urban marina, 2014-07-26

A bit expensive, but VERY convenient to dining, shopping and groceries. Helpful staff - got us settled on the long dock quickly and efficiently. Main office a good walk from long dock.
This is a good marina if you're meeting up with Amtrak passengers! Easy walking distance to the train terminal.

A marina in the heart of Vancouver, 2013-05-21
Captain: , Gibsons, B.C. (30)

This marina is well maintained, friendly helpful staff and perfect location. If they can put you into a vacant slip, that is great; however being along the long dock, though a bit more public, is also just fine. It is locked at 10 pm. and there is no further foot traffic getting on the False Creek Ferries. There is great shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation within a block or two of the marina.
It is one of our favorite places to stay in Vancouver.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE MARINA north of Costa Rica. $2.50 ft plus electric plus HST. Beware....
