Reviews for Put-in-Bay Yacht Club
Love the PIB Yacht Club!, 2015-11-10
Captain: , Catawba Island, OH (291)

Close to town but with privacy and quiet when you need it. Nice clean restrooms. Great dock with plenty of room!

Freindly Staff - But Had to raft Up, 2015-07-01
Captain: , St. Clair Shores (121)

Stayed for a weekend but had to raft up. Not ideal as I had to climb over the other boat to get ashore. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and basic. Easy walk to all island activities.

Decent, but Odd Hours, 2013-04-24
Captain: , Catawba Island, OH (140)

I have a hard time figuring out when the PIBYC is actually open. Most of the time, when we walk past it the restaurant is closed (or empty). The new docks are nice, allowing for more boats to dock here. However, there seem to be a lot of regattas out of this marina so it is often booked.

close to town, nice people, basic facilities, 2011-07-03
Captain: , Oak Park, Michigan (123)

We left our boat here overnight. It is a good basic place to tie up. Bathrooms. A few blocks to town.

Put-In-Bay-Yacht club, 2009-07-01
Captain: , Sandusky Bay (263)

This facility has a 125 foot long pier with water and electric hookups and can accomodate three or four boats on each side, depending on length. The east side has room for a single raft off for each boat, so nine to twelve boats total can dock. The club accepts phone reservations but you must be a member of an I-LYA club. Depths are adequate. Rest rooms are beautiful and kept clean and neat. Dinner is served most Friday and Saturday nights and the bar is friendly and spacious. It is located just west of The Crew's Nest.
No fuel service, but there is a nice pavilion at the dock with room for a party.
