Reviews for Pulpit Harbor Public Landing
Good Dinghy Landing, 2015-07-05
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (4015)

The dock makes this harbor much more attractive - easy access to shore for walking the pet, good local grocery store, and interesting walks on island roads to view North Haven from the land side. A lobterman at the dock sold us some lobsters at a reasonable price for a cook out on the boat.

convenient secure location to dock the dinghy, 2011-08-16
Captain: , Hampton, VA (2502)

Easy hike to to grocery store already mentioned. One should note that the transfer station (trash) is what appears to be over a mile hike northeast of the dock (do not cross bridge toward North Haven). While not everyone's cup of tea, the transfer station has all sorts of very used items for recycling and gave us an interesting, yet small insight into life of year-round residents.

Pulpit Harbor Public Landing, 2007-09-01
Captain: , Kemah, TX (124)

Pretty good small store about 0.25 mi SW across bridge from landing (better than average groceries for this type of location).
Dinghy tie up or small boat landing, no other services. Water spiggot reported in guidebooks is not working (8/2007). Relatively scenic country road walk to store.
