Reviews for Prizer Point Marina and Resort
Not Able To Stay July 26 2015, 2015-08-03
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (635)

After calling 3 days in a row to get an answer if they had a slip available for our boat, received call from Manager the night before our planned arrival at 5:30, which we missed. Called back in 10 minutes, she was not available and we were told to call the next day. Pulled up to Marina, called and asked if they had space for our boat, and response was %u201Cwe should have something, come into fuel dock and I%u2019ll check%u201D. The fuel dock was filled with pontoon boats and no place for a 46%u2019 Chris Craft. We pulled anchor and went to Barkley State Park Marina, which we would highly recommend.

Secure but needs attention, 2014-08-31
Captain: , santa barbara (696)

Easy and well marked entry, Dock staff pleasant and marina locals very helpful. Marina could use some attention to detail - some 30 & 50a boxes not working, all looked like neglected entomology projects.

Things have changed., 2014-07-19

We enjoyed this stop. They gave us a covered slip for $15 including electricity and water. Showers are availaable and were clean. A new building is planned. "The Pier" restaurant on the dock is new this year. The meals were good and resonably priced. Service was great.
This is a busy marina with the KOA campground on site. Lots of family activity. We recommend a visit here and plan to stop by again.

Pass this one by . . ., 2011-11-05

We stayed here because GTB was full. The docks are good but the docking staff desperately needs training - or replacement. May be a good family destination in the summer but marginal for transients in the fall.

Prizer Point, 2010-06-20
Captain: , currently Plantation Yacht Harbor, Islamorada, Fla. Keys (4407)

easy access from main channel; attractive facility; fuel dock staff needs guidance on handeling lines and moving boats to accomodate larger vessels, but courteous and friendly. We called ahead to check fuel price; found lower price than quoted on pump. Mostly an RV park [KOA]. Dock store and restaurant typical for summer ski and pontoon boat crowd.

Marina Review, 2009-07-14
Captain: , Eddyville, KY (282)

Nice little Marina with easy to reach gas, but a little hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. Good little mini store well stocked but short in choices. Dock attendants few and far between.

Nice Restaurant and fuel dock, 2008-06-08
Captain: , Absarokee Mt (1228)

Enter by following marked channel. Showed 6-10 ft fo water. Fuel prices competetive this date. Two dock hands helped tie up and fuel. Ship store, good restaurant and plenty of places to walk dog.
