Reviews for Prinyers Cove Marina
Nice Place, 2017-07-19
Captain: , coeymans landing, ny (74)

We took a mooring ball for the night. I went ashore and checked in with Canadian Customs. The 4 foot higher than normal water level has made things difficult but the marina has adjusted very well. Everything was in great condition.

New owners, great start!, 2017-06-13
Captain: , Loyalist Cove Marina (22)

Jim MacDonnel and family are the new owners of this little gem of a marina located on beautiful Prinyer's Cove just off the Upper Gap. You will notice some of the great changes right away as you arrive here, the moorings are now properly equipped with shackles, swivels and bridles! Call in on 68 or Jim's cell 613-920-2231, if you can't reach him grab an orange mooring until you can. As of June 2017 high water levels are preventing pump out but are expected soon. Facilities are clean and great showers. Hammocks, BBQ's, picnic tables, many comfortable chairs, screened room, great green spaces and lovely country walks. There is a small store and ice is available. The seasonal residents are friendly and welcoming. The B&B is now a house rental, great potential for wedding parties!
Best wishes Jim.

Nice area and would return, 2015-07-24
Captain: , Gananoque ,Ontario Canada (430)

This is a small marina with only 5-6 mooring cans available (Ports book out of date) There is very limited dock space available for transients and dock length is max 24 ft. Staff filling iin for owner helpful and courteous nice and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this marina and will return again.

Easy clearance, 2015-07-21
Captain: , Haiku, HI (251)

Phoned in clearance here after a run from Oswego. No hassles and no drama. Nice spot with good showers and laid back atmosphere. Much easier than going all the way to Trenton to handle the official details.

Great place to check in, 2015-07-15
Captain: , Essex, CT (1675)

We checked in with Canadian Customs from here (there are an approved check in site) and it was a piece of cake. Great service by the Canadians. The Marina is very tiny with very limited services but the folks were great and very accomodating.

Quiet spot, 2014-02-19

The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is not much in the area except camps and farmland... a great place for a long walk

A wonderful welcome, 2011-07-29
Captain: , Toronto, ON (1763)

First visit in 10 years. Wow, has this place ever improved!
Welcoming, clean, friendly.... We will make it a point to stop here and give Kingston a miss.

Lovely Spot, 2011-07-07
Captain: , Picton, Ontario Canada (10)

Don is a wonderful host. The place is well kept, friendly, and safe. The store has a selection of staples, groceries, frozen food, and beverages. Marina usually has available dock space or moorings for transient boaters. And the location and scenery is lovely.

Home port for me, 2011-05-26
Captain: , Picton, ON (270)

This is a great place if you have kids and or pets, lots of grass and safe play areas, fishing off the dock and a field toplay ball in. 20 min drive to main town the locals are great people and will help any way they can. Make this a stop on your way to Toronto and on your way to kingston. Hope to see you here

Beautiful Setting, 2011-05-11
Captain: , TORONTO (428)

The marina is staffed by helpful and friendly folks and the bay is idyllic.

Relaxing Stop, 2008-08-26
Captain: , Mimico Cruising Club ON Canada (1210)

In a well protected cove with deep anchorage. Docks and mooring balls available at reasonable rates. We enjoyed our stay for two nights.
