Reviews for Porto Deportivo Combarro
Nice small village with good marina, 2013-11-14
Captain: , Kinsale, Cork, Ireland (257)

Combarro is unusual as a traditional fishing village with its "Old Town" preserved, but quite tourist oriented.
The town is worth exploring, and has lots of restaurants and bars, mainly off the pedestrian streets in the old town.
This is a great base for exploring Pontevedra, only a €7 taxi ride away (take the bus for €1), which is a mini version of Santiago de Compostela and a lovely place for exploring and eating in one of its many beautiful small streets anmd squares
Good marina with visitors berthed typically on either the outside or inside of the breakwater (the latter with finger jetties). I have received good reports of boats which wintered here.
Well priced, and visitor friendly, in quite a sheltered location.

Combarro Marina, 2012-08-16
Captain: , Orust (1833)

Nice new marina. Combarro has a very nice old town. A must if you visit the Rias. Protected maina even in 50 knots SW. If you have paid one night in Caraminals you get 10% discount (2012) No washing machines in the Marina.
