Reviews for Portland Marina
Fair marina, but very long walk from visitor pontoon to facilities, 2015-09-03
Captain: , Brighton, UK (117)

Arrived just before sunset and no reponse on VHF. Called on mobile phone and was told where the visitor pontoons are and to find a suitable berth. Fairly crowded, but managed to squeeze in after someone moved their boat a little bit.

The visitors pontoon (and fuel dock) is the furthest from the facilities, a good 10 minute walk. Prices were expensive as is to be expected on the south coast. Facilities were okay.

Nice friendly cafe at the marina as well as a large pub/restaurant. Chandlery on site and a short walk to the castle and into Fortuneswell town where there is a small Cooperative Food store and a few cafes/pubs. For more it's a short bus/taxi ride into Weymouth.

Portland. A very good marina and excellent stop over., 2014-03-25
Captain: , East Cowes (50)

Fantastic marina. Roomy berths. Top showers toilets/showers. Friendly helpful staff. New restaurant about to open. Twenty minute walk to nearest shop and pub. Local shore shops/eateries limited.

Portland Marina, 2010-11-02
Captain: , Portland, Dorset, UK (22)

A great marina with all facilities and competitive fuel prices. The big plus is 24 hour access with no draft restrictions for leisure vessels and a very sheltered berth. There will be access restrictions during the 2012 Olympics as the sailing activities are being held here.
