Additional info:

Approach

After you go under the San Mateo Bridge, look for the East end of the Dumbarton Bridge and aim for it. (Do not continue on straight ahead) . After 2 miles you should almost run into South Bay marker 12. Keep a good lookout, it's easy to miss. When you arrive at marker 12 you will be able to see Redwood City Channel marker 2 a little further ahead of you. Stay to Port of it. (Do NOT turn into the channel yet. You will go aground.) When you reach Marker 2 you will see a floating green channel marker 3. Turn to Starboard between 2 and 3. Keep the red markers to starboard. When the Channel forks, stay left, past launch ramp and you are at the marina

Reviews for Port of Redwood City - Municipal Marina
Okay, I guess, 2014-06-04

Okay, decent depth, free pumpout station. But grimey, with sneakaboards. Showers so gross I only used them once. They need an industrial level of cleaning.

Excellent Marina and Yacht Club, 2013-04-20
Captain: , Redwood City, SF Bay, CA (22)

I've had my 26 ft sailboat berthed here for 2 years. The marina is well sheltered. They have very good security, and the facilities are well maintained. There are a few liveaboards (or perhaps sneak aboards), but not many. Slip prices are reasonable, and definitely cheaper than the North Bay. The harbormaster is very courteous and accomodating. The Sequoia Yacht Club is nice, and the people are very friendly.
