Port of Dubuque, Municipal marina, 2016-09-23
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (731)

outstanding marina. Very good docks. Luxurious laundry, showers and bath. Walking distance to the National Mississippi Museum and Aquariam. You can "short cut" into the cafe and gift shop from the marina office.

Also easy walk to Tony Romo's, and the Casino.

excellent stop, 2016-07-09

Great stop over. Plenty of room, easy approach

Great services but lonesome, 2015-09-07
Captain: , Orofino, Idaho (321)

Finding the hole in the wall to Ice Harbor was a bit of a guess, but once in is was great. More than 80 slips and just three of us on a Friday and Saturday night. A few locals drove thru with music blasting after dark but then settled down. Takes a while to get used to the very professional bur "remote" staff. Restooms nice as part of the museum complex.

Best kept secret on the river, 2015-08-13
Captain: , Ohio, IL (255)

We are staying Here for two nights. I can't believe there is just on other boat here. True it doesnt have wifi but hav great phone connections so were good. The Tony Romas restaurant is pretty close with great food and the best cheese cake we've ever had. the look of this place looks like just came in off the show-room floor.
One feature not to be missed is the Mississippi River Museum One of the best.
Great easy in and out with plenty of water. No worries.

A Fine Marina in a major City, 2014-09-09
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (6909)

Came into the the ice harbor thur flood gates that protect the harbor from any flooding event. Museum on site and in the heart of Dubuque with all of it's attractions. We found the marina almost empty and are perplexed why. everything including staff are top notch. New floating docks secured location with key card access. This has everything a cruiser wants except a supermarket on site at a bargain price. Bathrooms are the best I've seen in all my travels. Active Captain sat photo is dated as there are two additional docks. Came back on way south 09-09-14 and again found the marina mostly empty. Bought fuel (5% biodiesel, and non ethanol gasoline) and stayed for a week to tour the area attractions and Taliesin 90 miles east via Enyerprise rental car. The ice harbor is a working yard adjacent to a major railway. Hence we found that there is noise to contend with, however most all the cities and towns along the river have adjacent rail traffic. Still a great tourist rich stop with good accomidations.

A Great Place to Stay, 2014-08-29
Captain: , St Petersburg, FL (277)

Beautiful docks with hefty cleats, great toilet/shower suites, great washer/dryers and only $1/load, close to downtown and its restaurants and attractions, very nice staff, very secure. Not 5 star because it lacks wifi. (Would have given 4.5 stars if fractions were allowed.)

We Love the Place, 2014-01-09
Captain: , Anamosa, Iowa (35)

There are more docks that what shows on the map, 20 and 30 foot slips. Lock gate for access. Very clean shows/ restrooms. Small ship store. Located close to most Dubuque attractions, and all the food you could want.

We have stayed that twice and have plans to stay the over the summer months. I personally don%u2019t think anywhere else compares
