Pump out

Yes - Free if you take the boat to the station. On Wednesday there is a boat that makes the rounds of the marina and only charges $5 if you handle the hose end on your boat.

There are actually two pump out stations. The main station is inside the marina and is reached by traveling down the guest dock fariway, turn left and following it all the way to the end. The pump out station (named Waterloo) is on the left. There is a second, smaller, pumpout station at the end of the guest dock as soon as you enter the marina. Smaller boats can use this station after entering the marina. Larger boats will need to moor to the outside of the breakwater and pull the hose across the dock.

Our Favorite Marina, 2013-06-06
Captain: , Tacoma (32)

This was the first marina my wife and I ever spent the night at on our boat. We have been back many times and have enjoyed everyone of them. Our yacht club just did a cruise there and it was many folks first time there (except for fuel). They all had rave reviews and wondered why we had not been there before. All my wife and I could say is "we told you so".

No one home on the fuel dock?, 2013-03-27
Captain: , Seattle (690)

I see that the Port of Brownsville gets uniformly good reviews, particularly for good fuel prices. I'd like to pass along my unfortunate experience of visiting the marina and parking in front of the fuel dock last Sunday (March 24, 2012) and having no one show up to sell me fuel. I tried numerous times on the VHF and phone and got no response. I should have taken the hint and turned up into Liberty Bay to go to Poulsbo. But, I checked the Waggoner Guide and their website, which posts hours of 0830 to 1630 seven days a week. So, I went on in. Nothing. No one there. Seemed to be activity up at the office, but no one came down to the dock. So off we went up to Poulsbo where we took on 440 gallons of diesel at $3.80 per gallon ($0.12 less per gallon than Brownsville).

Lowest price on fuel in the area, 2012-10-16
Captain: , Bainbridge Island, WA (268)

This marina usually have the lowest prices on fuel. The diesel also has biocide premixed so it is convenient.

Nice Marina, will return, 2012-09-05
Captain: , SV Kairos, Eagle Harbor, Bainbridge Is. WA (233)

High quality guest morrage. Not a whole bunch on shore, a funky store that has live music on occasion. Good hookups at dock. Great restrooms/showers. There is a picnic area at the head of the guest dock that is covered.

Great place, 2012-07-05

Stop for the services, stay for the fun!, 2012-06-06
Captain: , Brownsville WA (75)

Brownsville Marina offers great protection, best fuel prices and both gas and diesel are pre-treated. You won't find a friendlier and accomodating staff. The Deli offers excellent food and wine and live music.

Love the store and fuel, 2012-03-23

This is on my list of palces to fuel when I need fuel

Nice and Quiet, 2011-09-06
Captain: , Seattle (195)

After spending Labor Day weekend in Poulsbo this place was a welcome reprieve. A great place to decompress. Quiet and probably one of the best views of any marina in Puget Sound as long as the fishing boats aren't blocking your view.

Great local marina, 2011-04-15
Captain: , Seattle (373)

This is a great spot for a stopover. They have a very friendly store that makes espresso and food, and their fuel prices are usually well below the major area marinas.

Worth it for the smoked meat nearby, 2010-12-25
Captain: , Sequim, WA (676)

Great friendly marina with nice amenities. The smoked meat and jerky from Sweeneys is incredible. a 5 min. walk from the marina.

A marina I could call home, 2009-12-10
Captain: , Everett (120)

This was the marina my sail boat was moored in when I purchased her. The staff was extreemly friendly and helpful, even pitched in when I had motor troubles. Now that was service unexpected.

Friendly port in a storm, 2009-07-14
Captain: , Seattle (250)

We made an unplanned stopthis spring, our first, when a small craft advisory became an uncomfortable reality. We were welcomed by the friendly and accomodating dockmaster who told us to tie up anywhere and check back in the morning if we decided to stay. It was an easy decision, so we signed in. He recommended a walk up to Sweeny's Smoked Meats, just up the road, and we were glad to have made the trek.

The marina has well maintained facilities, a nice deli/convenience store, and food specials - turns out we were there for "Taco Tuesday" - and, the preparations for "Chili Wednesday" were already underway.

And, while we weren't in the need of fuel, more than one boating friend has told us they tend to have the best diesel price in the area.

Great Marina, hidden Gem, 2009-06-03
Captain: , Puget Sound (115)

When we decided to go to the Brownsville Marina, as a different destination, I was sort of worried. When we arrived and we saw all the Geo Duck boats and very llittle space for our 40' sailboat, we were worried, but no worries. There was plenty of room on the breakwater for us and Miss Lindy. The staff here are super friendly, place is very clean (public areas, bathrooms, etc). The poeple at the little store and coffee shop could not be nicer and the sandwichs and coffee were excellent.

Once I figure it out, I will post some photos of the marina.

Nice friendly marina, 2009-05-20
Captain: , Seattle, Wa. (312)

Lots of guest moorage. Very nice docks and a great covered picnic area at the head of the docks with a sweet grill. Friendly staff and the showers/restrooms are the cleanest I've seen.

Fabulous place to moor, 2009-02-23
Captain: , Kalama, Washington (3)

Lots of reasons why we love this marina. Friendly staff, lowest fuel prices, good facilities, clean, accessible showers, and a well stocked deli and store. Also, it's sheltered from the predominate south winter winds. Huge parking lot and just miles from Silverdale which has a nice shopping mall and stores. Brownsville is rural but close enough to civilization.
