Reviews for Port of Brookings Harbor
Small but sheltered entrance, 2016-10-04
Captain: , Seattle (140)

Just one visitor float that can be mostly big fish boats. No reservations. Coast Guard station is agressive with inspections. 50-amp is 208 volt. Not clean. Service is friendly enough but minimal. Now that Crescent City has been fixed up, this place may be worth skipping.

I stopped here for an overnight break from the constant 35-40 Knots outside. advise to check with the port for the dredger movements, the transient dock is close t the coastguard station, so easy for them to nip over for a quick inspection.
Local bar/diner adequate.
Very good shelter and a peacefull night.

Port of Brookings Harbor, 2012-08-14
Captain: , Marina Bay, Richmond, Ca. (20)

Stayed at transient dock with side tie next to fuel dock 8/7/12. Restroom facilities marginal with coin operated showers. Mostly serving commercial fishing fleet. Power hookup 50amp only and panel was off showing all open wiring. Wayne

Convenient, friendly, port, 2012-05-30
Captain: , Kirkland, WA (4478)

Sidetie transient Guest Dock located immediately to your right entering the harbor (across the channel from Coast Guard) station. Very helpful and friendly port staff. All of the basic needs. Chetco Marine Supply store located very near transient Guest Dock. Power and water at Guest Dock. Call after hours and weekends.

Bare bones services, 2011-06-22
Captain: , Olympia,WA (125)

The transient dock is well protected and the docks are in good repair. The 2011 Tsunami did some damage but all has been cleared but not replaced. The Port facilties are limited (no wifi) but the staff is very friendly. With no public transit, walking can get you to major shopping centers food supplies, there are no hardware or food stores here at the port.
