Reviews for Port of Anacortes
Winter Stay 11/20-21/2013, 2013-11-25
Captain: , Friday Harbor, WA (12)

Very nice & quiet overnight in well lighted 40' tranient moorage on "C" Dock. Modern, well maintained marina is open to non-boater public access, new concrete floats with extra wide slips, 30/50 A power, clean rest rooms & showers, fuel dock open 7 days, 0800-1630 but confirm w/office, diesel was $362.0 + 8.2% tax. Short walk up ramp to very good Anthony's Seafood Restaurant with discount food & beverage 1500-1830 in bar daily. Safeway market & deli, w/Starbucks close by, open 24/7. Had extra cold temps with PM & AM thin ice on docks, required extra caution. Active commercial fishing fleet south of "C" Dock with no problems. Pay particular attention to charted narrow channel & markers on approach, entrance and departing harbor. If going south from POA to other facilities, be sure to go to red buoy before any turns and stay in dreged channel. if going south.

The Port of Anacortes -Cap Sante Boat Haven is an excellent facility , convent walking distance to Anacortes . Well staffed , Dale Flowler makes this of the best Marinas . Get an ice cream bar as you fuel up and check out the collection of dog photos .

We keep our boat here all year. Marina has been safe and generally quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. Grocery, restaurants, cafe, shopping, chandlery and entertainment within walking distance. Bikes available throughout the port office with trails from the marina. Free guest wifi now available.

Very friendly port office always trying to accomodate one boat or a group. New barge to have gatherings out on C dock is a great place for group trips and can handle 30-50 people.
Front office is fantastic and will help with whatever you need.

Captain: , Anacortes, WA (282)

The Port of Anacortes is an extremely well run, modern public marina facility. There is an active building and expansion program underway. Two cautionary notes: parking is limited, particularly during summer weekends when there are many festivals and public access events. Second, unlike most marinas, POA allows public access to the docks, so visiting or permanent moorage boats need to use extra caution about security.

I really like Cap Sante Boat Haven in Anacortes. It is friendly, the security is good, there are plenty of marine supplies and stores nearby. I would definitely recommend this marina to anyone.

The Port of Anacortes runs the Cap Sante Boat Haven. Excellent facility with fuel and transient moorage. Lot's of shopping and restaurants within walking distance, also a West Marine.
