Reviews for Port de St Tropez-Quai Suffren
Amazing harbor, 2011-02-24
Captain: , Toronto, Canada (391)

This is one of the prettiest harbors in the Med. In the summer, it's a beehive of activity, with throngs of pedestrians gawking at huge yachts which appear permanently glued to their dock, stern first. It's all about appearance, but it's still beautiful. Never quiet, even in the middle of the night. In the winter, it's a different place with few people around and closed cafes and stores. Docking spaces at Suffren or Jean-Jaures are very hard to obtain. Most transients are sent to the comparatively charmless western docks.
