Reviews for Port de Roses
Good safe harbour, 2015-02-01
Captain: , San Francisco, CA (20)

We came into the port when it was blowing 65 knots outside. Very helpful marineros, inexpensive laundry machine in the women's bathroom on the visitor quay. Self-service diesel dock. A bit of a walk into town. Originally we were anchored off the beach just next to the port, but the bottom is now completely fouled so we had to drop our anchor and chain with a float and retreive it later.

Great 1st/last port in Spain, 2014-06-21
Captain: , Annapolis (369)

The first time we came through Port Roses, we anchored; however in late May/June 2014, we went into the Marina. May was very reasonably priced at 23euros/night (12m boat); June 1 it went up to 39e/night. Good laundromat; good facilities, good restaurants and stores, but all much easier WITH A BIKE!- since transients are put on the inside of the breakwater.

Quiet well protected marina, 2013-09-07
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (261)

There is not much going on in this area. A couple of historic and interesting forts in town.

We used it as our first port of call from St tropez, France (2011) and it was an easy approach. The marina staff was helpful and the marina is well maintained. Mostly local boats but plenty of room for transients. There are several restaurants right in the marina along with some shops.

The southern half of the marina is for commercial fishing boat and the northern side for private yachts.

Provisioning is easy with several shops just in town.

Just north of the marina is a large sandy beach that is also used as an anchorage by many yachts.
