Reviews for Port Sanilac Marina
Older marina but town is coming alive, 2016-09-01
Captain: , LaSalle MI (585)

Marina is a little older, but well maintained and in good shape, fixed piers. Showers good, everything works. Town is very close and has some new restaurants, renovated market and some old standbys. Not a booming town but quiet and friendly. marine store and repairs next door.

Friendly and Helpful, 2015-08-08
Captain: , Hilton Head, SC (950)

Although we berthed at the Municipal marina, Chester, the owner of Port Sanilac Marina was very friendly and offered to help w/our nav light repair project. The restaurant Uri's there was very good. Next time I would pull into Port Sanilac Marina instead of the Municipal marina.

Good Layover/Excellent Restaurant, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Bay Point Marina, Marblehead, OH (180)

We were at the end of the peir with our 47' Bayliner and were able to plug into two 30's with our smartbox to make a 50 amp. We did lose power and had to have the dock breaker reset, but that was mainly due to our running two A/C's and our washer/dryer at the same time. We reduced our power draw and did not have any further problem. The staff was very helpful They have a ships store with quite a few marine supplies. A great restaurant called URI's. Excellent food and the appetiziers were delicious! The restaurant is under new ownership and the cook is the owner. The place was packed on a Wednesday evening. There is also an ice cream shop which has many patrons. This is a good place to stop over night

Port Sanilac, 2013-04-14
Captain: , Jupiter, FL (506)

We enjoy coming to Port Sanilac. It's a great day sail across Lake Huron. There's a nice chandlery to pick up essentials too. Transient dock prices and fuel are very good.
The town itself has a bit to be desired.

Port Sanilac, 2011-07-24
Captain: , Lake in The Hills, Illinois (542)

The harbor has recently been dredged giving ample depth to the fuel dock. The transients slips near the fuel dock had 14' of water. The Harbormaster is very helpful. although the marina was a bit shorthanded. The restrooms and showers are in need of updating.

EXCELLENT HARBOR OF REFUGE, 2011-07-06
Captain: , Oriental, NC (1148)

The Port Similar Marina is easy to access and wide open for docking. The depths for various docks range from 7 - 8 ft. There is a town nearby with grocery stores and pubs. This is a relatively busy har oer with a boat ramp and lots of day recreational boaters.

Port Sanilac Marina, 2009-07-21
Captain: , White Lake Michigan (87)

Nice marina but not much of a town to go with it
A good pub is a few blocks S on the main street.
Well run and clean, good storm protection.
