Reviews for Port Sanibel Marina
It's OK for a while, 2015-02-26
Captain: , Nebraska (30)

It's a nice enough marina but hard for me to wrestle a 30 foot full keel sailboat into the slip. For some reason I can not get them to answetr a hail on VHF 16 but they will answer the phone. The showers and restrooms are clean. When we stayed here last year for 2 months in a smaller boat they gave free ice but we have to pay for it now since we are only here for 2 days. They have no block ice. The grocery store is 1 mile away with a sidewalk only part of the way (I don't like walking on the edge of the road with everybody texting). There is a trail that winds through the mangroves so you can stretch your legs if you don't need the hike to the shopping mall or grocery store.

A good marina, but out of the way., 2015-01-30
Captain: , Gregory, MI (60)

We stayed here three nights and enjoyed the marina. There's not much around other than the resturant and a small shopping center about a mile away. The only negative comment is their dock numbering. We came in after dark and could not find our assigned dock. The numbers were on the dockside instead of the waterside so you could not see them as you come in. The facilities were great and clean.

Daysailing destination., 2013-10-07
Captain: , Tampa, FL (60)

This location was great for us. Kaitlin and the fuel guys were prompt and courteous. The sailing area was nice. Plenty of depth for our day sailer. Fellow residents were helpful and furnished me hardware I needed to launch.

Great Little Marina, 2013-09-25
Captain: , Lizella GA (1414)

After 2 days of cruising Loop down from Bradenton, this was a welcome stop. The staff were friendly and helpful and the resturant was very good but a little pricey. They have good marina security. We used the ramp to load boat. The ramp has little current and is easy to use.

Take care on the slip they assign you, 2013-02-13
Captain: , Racine (121)

We trailer a 21' Ranger Tug and this place was perfect for us.

Well maintained facility, close drive to Publix, friendly boaters and a great location with a number of places to visit via our small boat.

The only negative was a rather strange initial slip assignment. There were plenty of slips available and the person on duty wanted to put us in a slip next to the mangroves (the first one on the dock). It would have been very difficult to get into and we were concerned about bugs. So we refused the location and he assigned another slip further out on the dock. We also learned that we would have been sitting on the bottom at low tide if we had taken his assignment.

With so many slips available it is strange that he wanted us in such a bad location. We will assume it was someone with little experience.

Very clean marina, 2012-04-24
Captain: , Grand Haven (470)

The harbor master Charley was very helpful, the marina and restroons are clean, security is 24/7, resturant on site is great.
Down side is transportation.
