Reviews for Port Orchard Yacht Club
Port Orchard Yacht Club, 2012-07-08
Captain: , Seattle (365)

Stayed one night on 7/5/12. The previously yellow reciprocal docks have been repainted red. We were told by a resident that DNR decided that POYC owned the inside of the outer docks but not the outside of them. We were told that the red outer docks were now for day use only. A very helpful resident directed us to a space whose owners were in Canada for the season. We were offered power, but didn't need it. There are several numbers at the registry to call for an access card. Town is an easy 15-minute walk to the left out the gate. Not a high class joint, but very nice nevertheless. The best asset seems to be the nice people. Had Verizon cellular data and AT&T cell service. An enjoyable stay.

One of Seattle's orginal Yacht Clubs.

Free Reciprocal Mooring, 2011-03-23
Captain: , San Diego, CA (1239)

I tied up at the reciprocal dock and it was worth every penny. Free! No power available at the reciprocal dock. A 15 minute stroll to town. There was no problem with my dog on the dock. It was an OK place to tie up on the way from Poulsbo to Blake Island.

A Huge marina!, 2010-12-25
Captain: , Sequim, WA (676)

This place goes on and on. Reciprocal mooring is out side the breakwater, some wake. Power iffy on some docks. Helpful people.
