Reviews for Port Huron Yacht Club
Friendly Member Run Club, 2015-08-08
Captain: , Hilton Head, SC (940)

We were there on a Tuesday, and shortly after the big Bayview Mac race. That may have explained why it was pretty empty, but I did find a club member who gave me the wifi and bathroom codes. Facilities were clean - good microbrewery in walking distance - ThumbCoast http://thumbcoastbrewing.com

Good stop to or from Lake Huron, 2015-07-31
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (6484)

Convenient stop right off St. Clair River. Side ties on YC harbor wall. Be sure to call harbor master ahead of time to reserve a spot. We were told only one boat on wall, but when we arrived 3 sailboats had arrived and took up most of the dock. Main club-house was closed while we were there, most of the club were at Mackinaw Race. As result we only got to use small restrooms, no showers. Good power, close to town and several restaurants.

Wonderful club, 2015-07-05
Captain: , St. Clair Shores (40)

This is a favorite stop. The club is well run with very nice people. Many places to eat nearby.

Beautiful Facility, 2013-08-09
Captain: , Britt, Ontario (691)

We spent Aug 8th, 2013 on the wall inside the basin. Friendly members - one drove us to a grocery store. It is a very nice self-help club.

A great location, 2013-07-03
Captain: , Pittsburgh (513)

Used their wall in the river on a reciprocal membership a couple of times. The club is very active and the Port Huron to Mac race will start filling the harbor a week or more before its start. Great facilities and an easy walk on bike ride into town or the river front. Worth exploring the town and local pub/ restaurants.

Some of the nicest people you could ask for.Traveling thru and they welcomed us with help at the dock and invited us to the yacht club as soon as we secured the boat. Very nice facility, we will stay there again the next time thru

As a voyaging sailor it isn't often I pull into a yacht club and recieve such a warm reception.
PHYC has great facilities, clean showers, town is close by, lots of activities.
Tell them LaVida says ahoy!
