Reviews for Port Edgar Marina and Sailing School
My home port (for now), 2013-05-22
Captain: , Port Edgar (158)

Chandelry, cafe, marine mechanics, sailmaker all on site. This council run marina will be transferred to a private concern shortly. the pontoons are a little rickety but serviceable and are fully serviced. Shops are not to far away and south queensfery is delightful. The staff are this place's best feature, very helpful. Swell is a problem, when visiting my boss was thrown from her berth one non stormy night, swell can cause you to be thrown from your feet, dredging has been neglected recently such that even the dingys struggle at low tide.

Solid marina, 2011-05-30

Council run marina in need to some TLC, used to be destroyer then a mineweeper base and the buildings are a bit tired.
Facilities are ok and their are aways berths available. Well sheltered but some swell can come in and roll the boats around a bit.
