Just called the number shown and got the restaurant.

They told me to call "the marina", at: 301-643-9362

The Restaurant is hit and miss. A friend keeps his boat here and he likes the place.

Great stop without all of the 4 and 5-star amenities, 2015-07-01
Captain: , Moyock, NC (1084)

No it's not new and the docks are older wood fixed. However, the people are very nice and the food at the restaurant is good. The T-dock for a side-tie is best for 40'. There are sail boats in the slips with shorter finger piers. A fellow boater helped us with the lines and checked with us as for our needs as we walked along the dock. There is a grocery within 2-3 blocks. The marina's not staffed with dock helpers, but it's facilities are clean and without a lot of foot traffic. The cost was affordable, especially for a nice protected location.

A Disappointment, Barely 2-stars, 2013-10-19

From the Connecticut/Rhode Island border to Manhattan, and from Lake Champlain to Washington, D.C. this is the poorest marina I have docked my boat at. I had visited Pirate's Den about 3 years ago when it was owned by the previous owner. Then I found it bustling, energetic, and friendly. I spent August through the end of September/first part of October there and was really disappointed in how it had changed in the intervening years. First, my hat's off to Dennis, the dockmaster, because it appears he gets very little support from the new owner and is doing as well as he can under the circumstances. Now the marina is quiet--ghost-like almost, with little of the bustle and holiday spirit I previously found. The docks are deteriorating and the bathrooms/showers were poorly cared for and dirty. The restaurant seems to be the new owner's focus, as clearly the marina has gone lacking. On more than one weekend it was difficult to get fuel and a pump-out due to the lack of personnel present. I actually had to go to a neighboring marina to accomplish both. My final weekend there was the first time in two months I was able to do that. The yard is full of neglected and derelict boats which were on the hard all summer. The loop roadway around the building to the docks is in disrepair. It is quite clear why boaters are not around--there is no joy in this marina. I was distinctly disappointed as it fell far short of the expectations they themselves had set for me just three short years before. I do hope they decide to make changes for their own sake, and for those who still keep their boats here, as I despise seeing a marina fail boaters--instead I wish them success.

8/11/2013. Got in just after 2100. Everything closed. No pizza. All restaurants around were closed. Not much help from restaurant for locating anything or information.

Closed during the winter, 2012-03-18
Captain: , Galesville, MD (160)

Visited in early March 2012. Wanted Gasoline, but the marina was closed until 3/31/2012. Facility looked clean, but we could not validate due to closure.

They have fuel, 2012-02-08
Captain: , SeaScape Marina (310)

No help at the dock. Not sure if they are open till you walk up the hill and see. Had fuel though.

Good Gas prices, but hard to get into, 2011-07-12
Captain: , Washington, DC (350)

Navigation a challenge, be careful to follow markers, most deep parts are like 7-10 feet.

Okay place, 2011-07-09
Captain: , Stafford, VA (1079)

The marina is serviceable, but they don't have a lot of transient slips that fit 40'+ boats. It's good for a 1 night stay when transitiing up or down the Potomac River.
