Reviews for Pinder's Supermarket
Friendly fuel dock and store, 2015-07-27
Captain: , MIAMI FL (80)

Used their dock for refueling and for doing some repairs with the R&B guys that are next door. Friendly personnel willing to help.

Friendly and convenient groceries, diesel and gas, 2014-02-07
Captain: , Chicago (141)

We found the staff at Pinder's to be very helpful and friendly. It's a fairly well stocked store and very conveniently located. The prices seemed reasonable, especially considering the location (you can tie your dinghy up on their dock). We purchased gas but haven't used it yet.

Fuel update, 2013-08-07
Captain: , Bonita Springs, FL (221)

We stopped for fuel at Pinder's the end of July and found no problem with the fuel. They even stayed open late to accomodate us. Everything in Spanish Wells closes at 1700.

DON'T BUY FUEL HERE, 2013-03-20
Captain: , Wiscasset ME (1435)

UPDATE MARCH 2013: DO NOT BUY FUEL HERE! I can't say enough positive about the folks at Pinders but do not buy fuel here. I bought three jerry jugs of fuel a few weeks ago (new jugs) and now I am dumping the jugs into my tank and it is brownish black and full of sediment and there are lots of water drops in the bottom of the jugs. If you are in Spanish Wells and need fuel I would buy from a source other than Pinders.

Pinders market is a small market with most staple items. The people in there are very nice and friendly. Very helpful with island information. Prices are like anywhere in the Bahamas. Can keep dinghy there while you walk around but I would patronize their store in return. They have fuel at competitive prices.

Good selection for Bahamas, 2012-06-05
Captain: , Melbourne Florida (4616)

good place to pick up things needed. Dinghy dock right in front, inside the t dock on the east side. Not a floating dock but the lowest dock on the Island. Will be underwater and a very high tide. Trash cans in front, gas and diesel. Taxi to/from airport.

Near the water but Food Fair is much bigger, 2011-06-08
Captain: , Ludlow, VT (129)

For serious provisioning go the the Food Fair. It has a huge assortment of everything.

Tough Docking, 2011-02-04
Captain: , Shelter Island, NY (211)

This is a nice little store that offered to "go out and pick us an avocado" however they have no dingy dock and when we were leaving twon the tide had fallen and unless you're very athletic getting into you dingy is diffuicult. To be fair, we rode the dink up and down the narrow harbour and saw no floating docks what so ever.
