Reviews for Pier 39 Marina
Fun stop - very rolly, 2013-02-18
Captain: , SF-OCSC (10)

Great place to dock for a night or two. You need to plan ahead as they're not very prompt in returning calls or answering the phone. It was far to rolly for us to sleep so we got a room in a nearby hotel. The crew thought it was lots of fun to dock near the sea lions and all of the pier 39 action.

Great stop over on our way south. Right in the thick of things, close to restaurants and major sightseeing. West basin is a bit rolly but not dangerous, if staying longer ask for the east side, also away from the sea lions.

Stayed over night, staff was friendly. Slip was vey rolly with waves coming in from bay passing through jetty from the NW side. In the middle of the tourist area area so noisy but plenty of things to do close by like submarine and transport ship from WW2. Worth doing once but will not be back.
