Reviews for Picton Harbour Park Marina
Small but convenient, 2017-09-11
Captain: , Portsmouth, NH (471)

We tied up to the wall. As mentioned there is only room for 3 or so boats, maybe more if the launch ramp dock is used. We saw 8 feet of water at the wall. No one was at the office or answering the phone/radio, so dockage was free. It's a short walk into town which was small but pleasant. Don't miss the Canadian Naval Archives building on the main street. Every possible nautical book you could ever imagine, and huge section of used books for sale, where funds go to the archiving operation. Good brewpub and pizza at 555.

Great price on diesel, but not pump-outs, 2017-08-29
Captain: , Algonac, MI (1926)

Friendly little place with just a few slips. Wifi, power and good protection. I cleared customs here, but the officer on the phone never heard of the marina. Marina attendant said to tell him "Tip of the Bay" and they were good with that.

Good Location for run to Trenton, 2015-07-05
Captain: , Fort Monroe, VA (949)

Quiet location and nice town for a stroll or dinner. Previous comments are still valid. Dock is 40' then an angle then 70+'. 30Amp power but bring your long cord. Staff on hand to help tieup. 10 minute uphill walk into town but plenty of eateries and ice cream stops. Public has full access to dock. WIFI good on dock. Low rating due to full public access to mooring area, no laundry nearby, and no 50Amp.

Nice facility, helpful staff, 2014-08-13
Captain: , Gananoque Municipal Marina (30)

This marina consists of a sea wall on Picton harbour. We spent one night here in calm conditions. Very peaceful and an easy walk into town.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful stop, 2014-06-29
Captain: , Venice, Fl. (949)

This harbor beat our expectations. The marina is small with a 150' sea wall. The bathrooms are clean and good wi-fi. The staff was very friendly. You can check in with customs from the office phone. There is fuel and pump-out.

Good location, helpful dock staff, 2014-06-28
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (7375)

We atayed two nights here, helpful dock staff, clean rest rooms/showers. Easy to find at the end of the bay, look for the fuel dock. Close to town, up short steep hill. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery, laundry. Beer store also not far, but to the right as you get to top of hill (everything else is to the left) Our favorite restaurant was the Acousic Grill, live music on weekends. Marina would have rated higher but for lack of amenities.

Nice place to visit, 2014-06-08
Captain: , Cape Coral, Fl (838)

The marina is staffed with students on weekends (and no one during the week). Very friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms and they now have wifi. Rate is $1.51/foot CAD. A short to town, some nice restaurants.

Town Park - Concrete Quay, 2014-02-19
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (354)

Staff is young and helpful with anything local. The showers were clean, but there are limited keys. A nice walk to town.

This is a concrete Quay.

Picton Harbour Park Marina, 2013-06-21
Captain: , Patrick AFB Florida (1254)

Friendly staff, small marina with room for only a few boats, pumpout, gas (not sure if they have diesel), easy in and out, close to town for restaurants, coffee and cheese! Clean, but modest, restrooms and showers.

A good alternative, 2012-11-03
Captain: , Kingston (269)

The marine park wall is a good alternative to the Tip of the Bay, which has seen better days. The showers are clean and the young staff very friendly. They will negotiate on rates if you don't need power, are rafting, etc.

Picton Harbour Park Marina, 2011-08-01
Captain: , Herrington Harbour, MD (680)

July 30th, 2011
Fully protected harbour, good 10 feet at dock. Clean toilets and showers. Fuel and pump out on dock. Only has room for about 3/4 boats, so reserve early. Great town up the hill with several excellant restaurants. Good place. to stop for two or more days.

Friendly folk in Picton, 2010-02-23
Captain: , Bay Port (314)

Staff made room on the wall for us in Aug. 2008. (Tip of the Bay Marina was full). Since all the power outlets were occupied I used 2 shore power cords and a 15 amp adapter to plug into a wall plug on the office cabin - sufficient for lights and the coffe pot.

Lots of friendly locals visit the small park and parking lot behind the marina - makes for a pleasant stay at the marina. And be sure to walk into town - lots of shops, restaurants etc.
