Reviews for A and M Perdido Resort
The rate was good, but..., 2017-01-07
Captain: , Manitowoc (256)

Pump out machine not well maintained. No place to dock nearby. We had to ground our sailing vessel outside the last slip to get the hose to reach but the water would not reach. Hence NO PUMP OUT.

The WiFi signal was good but lacked the speed to support much internet surfing.

The staff was nice but many of the RV "guests" were not. Found out that after staying here several days. I suppose if you are old and wealthy, you will fit right in. Just dress well and keep your nose high.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. DON'T BRING KIDS. We have extremely well behaved kids (military family) and they were treated rudely by the RV "guests".

This place says it is AAA approved. I am an AAA member. I called for reservation renewal, you know for a discounted rate. The folks at AAA NEVER HEARD OF THIS PLACE. Gave them the EXACT ADDRESS. When the AAA people called A&M they were told "we are full". THEY WERE NOT.

Stay if you are looking for a low rate, but treat it like a parking lot. Don't stay here for the fun, get a car rental (we did) and see the sites. Leave the old bitter people to themselves.

Wonderful stop, 2014-12-17

We stayed just one night on December 4. The marina staff was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are cleaned daily. Showers were excellent. Park is aimed at RVers, but are very welcoming to boaters. Public just across bridge. Fuel just at the next marina. Our neighbors gave us a ride to town the following morning for fishing supplies. Would recommend this marina for a quick stop to resupply.

Stayed two nights memorial day weekend . Very clean and well maintained amenities. Good place for kids to enjoy the pool and rec room. Not many people around, very quiet. No problems with current or wakes from icw.

Perdido Cove RV Resort and Marina, 2010-04-12
Captain: , Perdido Key Florida (460)

Perdido Cove is a fairly new RV park which also has an attached marina right on the ICW. The current and wind can be strong at times. They are mostly tailored to RVs, but the resort is very clean and well run. Bathrooms, laundry and rec room are very nice. Very nice pool. There are also condos for rent. We are currently a live aboard here and love it. Our kids are going to come for a visit and stay in the condos.

Nice vacation spot., 2009-05-19

This resort is setup mainly as an RV resort with a swimming pool, laundry, and community building. They do have townhouses and boat wet slips available for rent as well, which are allowed to utilize the amenities. Current rates published on their website for slip rental seem reasonable. The only issue with this marina would be the location of the wet slips, since they are subject to the wind/current that flows down the ICW, which could lead to difficult docking.
