Go see Bob awesome place great facility and restaurants.

Only facility with sailboat access in New Haven Harbor, 2015-07-01
Captain: , Baltimore (180)

Nice, if less than organized. Took a mooring @$55. Was offered shuttle service - ends when gas dock closes at 7pm. Took our dink. No supplies close. Main restaurant was closed for updates, small restaurant was open. Nice bathhouse. Friendly, if less than well informed, personnel. No VHF response. Did answer the phone. Most moorings are labeled <5' draft at low water.

Thinly staffed, 2014-08-28
Captain: , Galesville, MD (246)

The club has its bar on the second floor of its building and rents out the first floor to what appears to be a popular restaurant, open for dinner only. They also rent space to a deli that is open for breakfast and lunch. The fuel dock attendant appears to be the only available staff before noon. Later in the day, the bartender appears to be the only available staff. We picked up a mooring at about 6:00 PM, then dinghied into the gas dock and found our way to the bartender to pay him for the mooring.

NO Customer Service, 2014-07-11

Great stopover, 2013-10-11
Captain: , Earth (232)

I would certainly recommend this facility for a stopover. The clubhouse is comfortable and they serve food from the downstairs, Sage restaurant which is excellent. The laundry facilities are new and easily accessible at all hours with a bonus of free coffee at the entrance of the marina office. Overall we received 5 star service.

May 19 Stopover, 2013-05-20
Captain: , Arcadia, MI (10)

Stopped by for the night for dockage & fuel for the night on our way from Newport, RI to Atlantic Highland. Everyone was helpfull, and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed our evening drinks & meal with the friendly crowd. Recommended stopover for anyone looking for a friendly crowd.

Most unwelcome Club on LI Sound, 2012-08-07
Captain: , City Island, NY (17)

On July 21, my wife and I decided to try New Haven Harbor for a night as we had never stayed there before. We tried to hail this club on the radio but apparently no one was monitoring any of the channels we tried. We then went into the gas dock (where we confirmed that no one was monitoring the radio) and filled up (paying a $.20 premium for credit) and tried to get some information about the Club and its facilities. The attendant was less than helpful (pump out broken, no ice, unsure of transient rates, etc.) but eventually we were able to secure a slip for the evening (at an outrageous rate). However, we had to dock the boat ourselves without any assistance from either the attendant or the various members just sitting on the boats adjacent to our slip. Once tied up, we tried to find out about restaurants in the area but no one offered to assist us in making a reservation, including the bartender in the clubhouse upstairs. We tried to get food served toi us in the Clubhouse but were told that it was not possible (I later found out that was not true). We had dinner by ourselves and left the next morning left the dock (again without any assistance from either staff or members nearby) to friendlier destinations.

We have been to many yacht clubs and marinas over the years and I have never felt as unwelcome as I did at your Club that evening. GO THER AT YOUR POWN PERIL!!

Great Port of Call, 2011-11-04
Captain: , Murrells Inlet, SC (61)

In late September we were forced off the sound due to bad weather. They graciously let us tie up at their fueling dock for over night and gave us access to their facilities. Great place.

Pequonnock Yacht Club Great Desitination Port on Long Island Sound, 2011-06-24
Captain: , Pequonnock Yacht Club New Haven, CT (70)

The Pequonnock Yacht Club is located in the Historic City Point Section of New Haven, CT. Located at Oyster Point, one of the first oyster ports in New England it is a picturesque marina with great views of New Haven Harbor and two historic lighthouses. The Marina features a full ships store, a deli which is open for breakfast and lunch, and Sage American Grill, a five star restaurant which features live music on the weekends. Great floating docks and ample moorings this is a perfect destination port for a weekend getaway on Long Island Sound.
