Reviews for Pensacola Beach Marina Inc
Nice Facility, 2015-07-23
Captain: , Kemah, TX (612)

Very friendly staff. Stopped in December, 2014. Don't wander out toward Little Sabine Bay, you WILL run aground. Arrived just before closing. Convenient to beach and restaurants. They have a little coffee shack on the third floor of their building with wifi and pastries. Very nice. Easy access in and out of the Bay.

Stop for Fuel, 2014-02-15
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, FL (50)

Have stopped for Fuel and Ice several times. Nice Staff, helped tie off while fueling. Good spot to land dinghy if wanting to expore restaurants on the boardwalk across the street.

High price for no amenities., 2013-07-07
Captain: , Galveston TX (90)

Nice people working at the marina but for 1.50 a foot this place is lacking services . No showers, toilets, or clothes washers. If you need provisions, have to go across bridge or by dink to Gulf Breeze. There is a Publix about 1/2 mile from the water. The island has lots of places to eat out and people watch.

not fancy but nice, 2013-05-13

They let me tie up and wait out a front (no charge) on my way west so I spent the night on my way back. Nice people. Bathroom access is only during business hours however.

Under new management, geared to charter fishing fleet, have 3 transient slips. Treated us well.

Beach Marina, 2012-09-28
Captain: , Gulf Shores AL (90)

We stopped and filled up the Dinghy, 3 gallons. Dockmaster very nice and could not understand the negative comments, Very helpful and suggested nearby anchorages. We would stop here again.

Easy docking and under new ownership/management., 2011-07-01

Easy in/out for diesel. Staff was friendly enough.

No one is running this facility. The fuel pumps are closed. Sign says doe to the economic impact of the oil spill they have closed., 2010-10-25

We tied up to the fuel dock before we realized that they were no longer operating. We were able to stay, but you should consider this marina as closed for transients.

Horrible Manager -- AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!, 2010-07-03
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (84)

I had one of the most unpleasant experiences at this so-called marina today. We pulled up to the dock in our dinghy, behind the fuel dock where there were no boats, to tie up to try to go to the grocery store and visit some restarants on the beach. This is during the BP oil spill fiasco. All the businesses on the beach are crying for tourists to come and spend money here. We are locals. We came over in our dinghy and wanted to tie up to spend money here and enjoy the 4th of July holiday. The manager was verbally abusive -- four letter words, etc. We found out they were not selling fuel at the time, so there were no boats pullig up to the fuel dock, and we were trying to tie up behind the dock where no boats would come. We have done that in the past. We usually tie our dinghy at the Pensacola Beach Yacht club, but there was an oil boom blocking it.

As other reviewers have stated -- this place has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and no concept of what that means. They think they are the only game in town and can afford to be disrespectful, and in our case verbally abusive, towards cutomers and potential customers.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!! If you need fuel, go across to the other side of the bridge and go to Santa Rosa Yacht Club.

Small Sailboat Cruising, 2009-05-13

Beach Maina has a well stocked grocery but that is where it about ends. The "older" blonde woman at the fuel dock was very unfriendly. I asked about the weather and she was "too busy" to allow me to check it (there was no one else in sight). I was offered a wall for the night when the wind was blowin' at 10 - 15. After begging, I got a small slip with no power, and was charged an outrageous price relative to other facilities. Beach Marina has no 24 hour restrooms or any showers except for a hose at the fish cleaning station. I will stay away in the future.

Just a fuel dock.. Staff not the friendliest.
