Reviews for Pender Harbour Authority Madeira Park Public Wharf
Very Convenient!, 2017-06-18
Captain: , Pender Harbour, BC (411)

Friendly dock staff, rate as of 06/17 was $.95/foot. 50 amp power was $11.00 Very convenient to stores, groceries, liquor store, cafe and Canadian Legion! Docks are good, power is strong and good water. A bit busy, but you are in the center of the area.
Next door is Rick King's 'Madiera Marine' great for parts, service and mechanical ... they even have a steel fabricating shop and marine ways.
The Pender Harbour area is the bomb !!!

Good Grocery Stop, 2014-02-01
Captain: , San Diego, CA (480)

We came in on a Sunday and the moorings were packed but Dave (the Wharffinger) rafted us on a prawn boat so we could grocery shop. Otherwise, you have to anchor and dingy in which is a bit of a pain. Definately would go again to this marina. Major friendly staff.

Lovely location but busy, busy, 2013-09-25
Captain: , Pender Harbour and Calgary (110)

Nice and close to the IGA and BC Liquor, but I have yet to be able to dock at this facility. We now either anchor in Garden Bay or stay at the Pilothouse marina.

Super friendly and helpful staff, 2013-06-17
Captain: , Anacortes, WA (220)

This will now become a regular provisioning stop. 3 hours free tie-up at the public wharf, extremely helpful staff (Dave), nearby well stocked market & cafes.

The only major service not provided is laundry, but we were told that during the high season they can arrange to have your laundry pickled-up, washed/folded, & returned for about $45 (seems expensive unless you are desperate).

The Dinghy Dock, 2012-06-20
Captain: , Seattle (385)

We tie up at Garden Bay, but often go to the dinghy dock here for access to the grocery store, drug store, liquor store, and chandelry nearby. If you stay at any of the other Pender Harbour anchorages or docks, it is well worth a dinghy run for shopping here. The grocery store accomodates the use of their carts to the marina.

Excellent location and friendly staff, 2011-02-22
Captain: , Cowiche, WA (350)

We stayed here 8-1-10 and stocked up on our way to Princess Louisa. Friendly staff, good Wifi by the office and great seafood on the docks from various boats. Came back after the Princess and stayed a couple more days. Looking forward to goin here again. Very accomodating place.

Good publoic dock, 2009-08-15
Captain: , Anacortes, WA (147)

We had to raft to our friend's boat, but still had to pay full moorage fee (their argument is that because their rates are lower they have to charge everyone the same.) It is a nice marina with a small, but decent washroom with showers.

A couple of blocks away are a couple of coffee shops/cafes, IGA grocery store, state liquor store, credit union, etc.

very little transient space available. don't count on being able to moor. Good location.

Pender Harbor /Maeria Park Public Marina, 2009-03-12
Captain: , Olympia (308)

While rafting is the rule, there is always room for one more! The harbor master/mistress are helpful and knowlegeable.
Only a short walk to nearly all of the suplies you might need.

We loved the place and the people there.
