Reviews for Pelican Cove Resort and Marina
got lied to....., 2015-01-26
Captain: , north kingstown (341)

Was coming down for on shore stay ..was going to rent boat....price was approximately 30 percent more but told hotel would be majorly renovated by jan trip... Saw bad reviews on trip advisor so called... Got told that only one building left to go " come on down" Major construction site.... No discount... Attitude from staff... Did not stay went down the road to Cheeca and am having great time with superb service

Very diifficult approach, 2014-07-26
Captain: , Islamorada, Florida (262)

Nice little resort, but the approach is a nightmare. Prior to purchasing my own boat, I used to rent a deck boat here. No matter how many times I did, the pucker factor never dimishes with time. The small PVC pipes marking the entrance are chaotic as there are several different routes into the marina. Making matters worse, the skinny spots are often coral...leaves a lasting impression on your prop.

Not Much Use to Cruisers, 2013-03-12

But a good place to stay for a land-based trip. We trailered a 22' power cat and tied up at their dock. It's $40 a night, even if you are a guest. They have a nice Tiki Hut bar and pool. Across the canal from Holiday Isle, but noise wasn't a problem.
