From the ICW, turn east North of marker 38, follow shoreline around keeping red dayshapes to starboard. After about a mile you will pick up a channel marked by both green and red dayshapes. Follow this channel to its conclusion. After exiting the channel keep nose pointed at the dockmasters building on the end of the dock, shallow water to port. When about 100 feet from quay wall, make a hard port turn until lined up with the fairway. Then you are safe to enter.
See chart and route on the marina website.

Reviews for Pasadena Marina
Clean, Awesome Dockmaster, with a Pool, 2017-05-30
Captain: , Apollo Beach (542)

June thru Sept my better half still sails so long as there's power for the a/c at night. Wanted to try Pasadena Marina becasue they had a pool. Joe, the dockmaster was incredibly nice and helpful. Place was very clean. Showers / Bathrooms were more than acceptable. Easy walk to Woody's at Blind Pass, Bowling across the street, groceries and everything within an easy walk. Docks were the cleanest I've seen.... Easy to navigate in, just give the first bare pole a wide birth had over 6' all the way in.

a great place, 2017-04-01

I just left here after a 3 month stay. Slip rentals are a little higher than other places but this is a very nice small Marina. Spotless showers and restrooms, functioning laundry, great pool, dinghy racks, a tented work area for small projects and just about the nicest people you will ever meet.

very nice one month stay, 2015-08-04

This marina is clean, quiet, and convenient. Joe, dockmaster, and Marella, owner, work hard to keep it this way. Pool and work shed are a plus. Easy walk to three groceries and several resturants. Less than one mile to St. Pete Beach. Trolley stop right there takes you to Pass-A-Grille and downtown St. Pete.

We have been living aboard here for the past 2 weeks. We plan to stay another few weeks before moving south again. I can echo the previous post. Carl and Chuch are super helpful and Mirella is sweet and helpful! This is a great place to stay with great people.

awesome place, 2014-04-12

We had to pull in unexpectadly becaue our captian was sick. Marilla was very nice and accomodating and Chuck and Carl came out to help me (first mate) pull up to the transient slip. We stayed longer than expected (a week) and they were great to us the whole time and we always felt welcome even though they only had the one "transieint" slip. It would be a great place to live aboard - the tennants are all very nice and the facilities are great, you can drive up to your slip, nice pool etc. WE highly recommend this place and can not thank Pasadena Marina and the people there for being our "port in a storm".

I used to live here for over two years, 2013-02-16

The people are great, and it's a very nicely located marina. There's a freshwater spring in the corner that reduces the barnacle buildup, it's quiet, no current, and the tide runs about 4ft. To get into the marina, you HAVE to go to channel marker number 38, leave it just to your south, head to shore going north, then turn east. Hug the shore around the point and only after the confusion of channel markers goes away because they all magically line up, then turn to the north and head into the channel. Re-read what I'm saying and follow the chart closely, you'll see. The amenities are really great. The only think I can think of that would make it really really awesome, is to turn the office into a boater's lounge. I know they afraid it would get trashed, but hey, it's not a large marina and everyone there is cool. But, there's lots and lots available to walk to, about a dozen resturants, grocery stores, even the beach is only a two minute bike ride. Catch the trolley to downtown where you can catch a baseball game or go to the Pier where there's several sailing clubs. Mastry Engines is a five minute drive down the street where you can get Yanmar parts at wholesale. This is a really nice marina and highly recommend it if you're looking for a place to tie up for a couple of days or longer.

Quiet, well protected, 2010-08-31
Captain: , Gulfport Florida (162)

Almost requiring local knowledge to get into there. Narrow fairway, but well protected. Come in slow and watch the tides. Parking next to the boat, nice pool, laundry and showers. Walking to Publix and restaurants. Hospital across the street.

Quiet, nice marina with great facilities., 2009-11-07
Captain: , Ft. Myers Beach (263)

Agree with previous reviewer. One more thing: navigation is awfully tight for those that are located on the eastern end of the marine - very close to mangroves, not much room for moving the boat.

a very quiet place to live aboard. Minimal street noise. parking close to slips.
