Closed for Business, 2017-04-30
Captain: , Boca Raton, FL (1522)

According to their website, they are closed for business except for some longterm slips that are there. It is also up for sale. Too bad, great location but didn't promote themselves on Active Captain.

Great place to anchor overnight and dine., 2015-10-23
Captain: , ORIENTAL, NC (35)

Just off the ICW a couple of miles. Anchor in Broad Creek just in front of the Paridise Cove Marina sign on a small point of land. Depth is 6 to 7 ft. and is pretty well protected and not much traffic. You can see the ICW traffic off in the distance so not too far away. We have stopped here several times and just dinghy 1/2 mile to Paradise Cove for dinner, live music, and craft beer and good wine. If you don't have a dinghy out or don't want to use just call Scott on the phone and he will pick you up in his fishing boat and bring you back when you are ready. Can't beat that for service. They have realy good live music on the deck on most weekends and the food is great. The marina is small and only about 4 ft deep so best to anchor out, hail the water taxi and have a great time. Can't say enough about Scott & Deb.

Paradise Cove is a going place., 2015-05-26

Scott and Debbie are excellent people and extraordinarily helpful. Marina car to get into town. Recently finished new kitchen and bar. Serving excellent food and all the beer and wine you can drink. Showers and restrooms available. Affordable overnight docking with power and water. Definitely worth the stop and not far out of the way going north. Scott can pick you up if you anchor out and there is plenty of room to tie up the dinghy.

Great Place to Overnight, 2014-01-15
Captain: , New Nern, NC (10)

Very helpful owner. Provided exellent directions to dock. Helped tie up. Rates were super, $/ft. Dockside power and water included. Shower and head clean. Also very nice bar. Cold beer, Killians @ $2.75.
Looking forward to my next visit.
Nice place to stop as a way point or saiing distination.

Small, comfortable marina., 2013-10-24

Our three foot draft made it in nicely... Could take up to three and a half feet, no more. Great all round protection, nice tiki bar (locally brewed beer on tap!), WIFI, 1.50/ft, really helpfull hosts, Scott and Debbie. 6 transient slips. Shallowest part at opening. For us, perfect.

They're Back!, 2013-07-29
Captain: , Between Boats, USA (623)

We dropped the hook in Broad Creek and stopped by in July 2013. Scott and Debbie are working hard to create new magic out of this, once famous, place. We asked a lot of questions and Scott had lots of stories. A former land developer that is working his butt off to fix the old place up. New facilities are coming along and big plans to inch Paradise Cove back into the game of great stops along the ICW. A growing beer selection and only basic fodd right now, they have purchased the property next door to add the septic they need to put in a kitchen. Gas only (no diesel). 4-5' draft in entry creeks so don't plan to take your 40'-er in there (not like there is enough room to turn around either). Still, look to Paradise Cove if you are at anchor or at River Dunes for a great night. Scott will even come pick you up in his boat if needed. Frequent music acts and lots of locals to talk about boating. We had a great time and will surely go back soon!

Nice spot for a beer, 2013-05-20
Captain: , Great Falls, VA (1092)

Not for deep draft boats, anchor out and dinghy in. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The bar has an inside and out side area, beer and wine only. They also have a small store for basic provisions.

Now open with many upgrades, 2013-04-14
Captain: , Paradise Cove NC (17)

remodeled restrooms, bar is open with beer, wine & nonalcoholic beverages, ships store with groceries and sundries

Nice place to dink in and have drinks listen to music, 2010-06-02
Captain: , Melbourne Florida (4616)

We dinked in had drinks and listened to music. Live music on weekends and potluck on saturdays, call for info. Bar owner, Paul, was great. Even gave us some softshell crab for us to take to the boat. Enjoyed our time and will return.
