Reviews for Pantalan del Mediterraneo
Small to mega yacht sailing center, 2013-09-07
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (261)

One of the most densly populated yachting center in the Med. Services caters to all boats/yachts with a mix of local and British ex-pats technicians.

Harbour provides very good protection from waves and currents. Winds can get strong during squalls but the island protects the area from the strong Mistrals to the north.

The bay provides some calm waters with good winds for sailing. Many beaches and small coves to spend the day at anchor.

Palma is a tourist town with huge influx of British, German, Swiss and Austrian tourist during the summer. Cruise ships berth at the southern side of the harbour.

This marina is a single quay with a a large gated entrance that keeps the general public out. 24 hour security. Office staff during the day and dock hands help with berthing. Electric, water and trash bin at each berth.

This marina is one of the smaller in the harbour but is also one of the most private as a result. Keep in mind the City of Palma is a busy place so street noise and large nite clubs (Tito's) that open at midnight on weekends do keep revelers active well in the early hours.
