Reviews for Palm Coast Marina
A Real Nice Place, 2017-08-03
Captain: , Jupiter, FL (1306)

Nice folks, customers and employees both. Clean and quiet.
It's a day run from Fernandina in a slow boat and we arrived just in time for sunset and Happy hour. The internet is very fast.
Debbie and her staff always make you feel at home.

still a good stop over, now has insta cart!, 2017-07-23
Captain: , Key Largo (5457)

friendly helpful staff cheap dockage , $1.50 a ft boat us fixed protected docks, little tide, hotel,/mall half a mile south with bars, stores, etc.. bbq The local publix offers insta cart to deliver food right to your boat. used it and it was great!

Nice Stop., 2017-06-18
Captain: , North Charleston, SC (752)

We stopped for fuel and one night's dockage. We got our fuel and stayed on the fuel dock.

Everything was clean and everyone was pleasant. We walked to the village and had a nice dinner.

It's not really a "destination" but it's a great fuel stop and a fine place to spend the night.

Convenient , good fuel price, 2017-05-22
Captain: , Ft Lauderdale (221)

This is a well placed location if you get past Daytona but can't get St Augustine. Easy access to fuel dock which is where we stayed for night. Competitive fuel prices and small village within 10 min walk that has several nice restaurants including a great Mexican spot.

Good fuel, good people, good food!, 2017-04-25
Captain: , Longboat Key, FL (1089)

I have been by this marina a number of times but have never stopped until now. While the docks and facilities are a bit tired, it is safe, secure and more than adequate for a night or two.

Good fuel prices, very reasonsable dockage rates and some of the nicest folks you'll meet made this a really nice stop. There are a number of restaurant options within a 10-15 walk to the "European Village".

Great fuel stop!, 2017-04-16
Captain: , Poughkeepsie, NY (6077)

Good prices and great dock hands.

Annual Stop, 2017-02-17
Captain: , Brunswick, GA (301)

We make Palm Coast a regular overnight stop on our trip from Brunswick GA to Lake Worth. Nice spot just off the ICW on a canal. A subtle, but sometimes strong current in the canal. Transients are ususally docked along the canal and docking can tricky "parallel parking." We were there on 2/10 and they allowed us 45 ft to dock our 40 ft trawler. Excellent dockhands. European Village is about a 1/2 mile walk. Good variety of restaurants and the walking paths are nice. There is a good liveaboard community here that gathers otside the ships store in the evenings. Good conversation. Better than average ship's store, but can be pricey. Gallon of oil I paid $12-$16 dollars for at Walmart was $36 dollars.

Nice stop The bike /walking trails are wonderful., 2017-02-12
Captain: , Chicago, Racine, Fish Creek,Wi (3189)

Fuel and dockage available with the friendly staff. Docks OK, Washrooms showers decent. Fair prices on dockage and fuel.
The bike/ walking paths around marina are great. You can bike/ walk along ICW and there is a varity of paths to take for miles in the area.

Great Marina, 2017-02-08
Captain: , Georgetown, MD (372)

This is an excellent marina with a great atmosphere. The facilities are the cleanest I have seen on our trip from Delaware. We were only there for one night but this marina is a gem! We went to the European Village for dinner but only one restaurant was open as it was Monday night. That one restaurant did give us a great dinner. We will definately plan a return stop.

Wonderful Marina, great atmosphere!, 2017-01-03
Captain: , Mayport Florida (452)

Came in for one night to escape the cold on 12/30/16. What a pleasant surprise this marina was. Nice ship store/office with fresh coffee brewing all the time and alot of essentials (cold beer) in stock. Extremely clean and well maintained showers/bathrooms. Clearly the staff provides a nice personal touch and pays attention to the little things. The European village is worth the 10 minute walk. Great place for restaurants.

Nice stop, good protection., 2016-11-27
Captain: , Tempe, AZ (240)

Great price and helpful staff. You can have dinner delivered to the boat from any of several restaurants, or take the 10 minute walk over to the European Village with several restaurants. For $14 a local taxi will take you to Publix and back.

A Favorite Stop, 2016-11-17
Captain: , Milwaukee WI (939)

Well maintained, convenient, economical marina. We always use the no frills (no electric, no water) for an overnight stop. Boaters lounge, bathrooms, laundry, common areas are beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good place to stop, 2016-10-24
Captain: , Largo, FL (120)

We came in for the night and were pleasantly surprised by how homey it is. Everyone is very friendly and the people at the dock were excellent when we came in. Would definitely stop here again if we are back this way.

Great marina, 2016-10-17
Captain: , SUNNY ISLES BEACH (71)

What a gem. Have not stopped there in the past but would definitely stay again. John and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful on docking and information. Good restaurants within walking distance.

Handled Hurricane Matthew very well - minor damage, 2016-10-10
Captain: , Hammock Beach, FL (233)

The Palm Coast Marina did very well during Hurricane Matthew. A finger pier was lost & a sailboat went down due to a broken water pipe that swamped the boat during the storm (a freak incident, not a marina issue).

Another great stay, 2016-06-13
Captain: , Savannah, Ga (20)

Came down as overnight trip from Daytona to run boat. Been about 3 years since here, but facility and staff still great.

Returning Soon, 2016-06-04
Captain: , Palm Coast, Fl (91)

I really liked this Marina. Very clean and well kept. Staff is very Professional. I will use them on my return trip North

Good Value & Helpful, Friendly Staff , 2016-04-09
Captain: , Hobe Sound, Florida (480)

Spent two nights at their fuel dock because this marina is busy and successful! Could not ask for friendlier or more helpful staff or more pleasant surroundings. Reasonable fuel prices, great open areas for the dog, handy and pleasant common areas, dated but squeaky-clean private bathrooms and showers and remarkably good WiFi access, but no TV reception. Would rate Palm Coast a 5 if there were an on site restaurant and close-by provisioning and services.

What a Jem, same second time around., 2016-04-07
Captain: , Kingston, Ontario (1970)

Came back at a more leasurely pace, great place. very friendly folks, nice clean marina for a good price. Good reviews working as place is getting very busy, make sure you make reservations.

On a schedule so pushed past Daytonna to here, first time and what a great place. Super lady on phone, very helpful and lots of + energy. Arrived after hours, call a number they provided and Niel mer us, helped get settled and gave us a briefing on what marina and area offered.
They provide a great welcome package with lots of good info.
Excellent wifi as well.

Nice Stop., 2016-03-29
Captain: , Cape May, NJ (130)

Very nice marina with helpful staff, clean bathrooms and showers. Docks are in good shape and rate is very reasonable. You get a discount of 10% if you fuel up. Diesel was 2.10 before discount. i would definitely stop again. There are restaurants within 1/2 mile walk.

still great, 2016-03-28

Wonderful Marina!, 2016-03-12
Captain: , Charleston, SC (10)

We stayed at Palm Coast last night 3/11/16, came in after hours, and Neel was right there to help us tie up. They gave us some wonderful information on the area and the facilities were clean, comfortable and just had a friendly vibe. Thanks also to Frank and Ernie who helped get us set up when we called. Two grateful boaters who can't wait to get back and stay awhile!

amazing transit slip great prices and friendly staff, 2016-03-08

Has everything (except shopping). Great facilities, friendly and helpful people.

Great value, 2016-02-05
Captain: , Rowayton, CT (199)

Nice people, easy access, I am 30' and draw 4'6" so went into a slip - $20 for the night. Can't beat that! Only downside - the clubhouse closed at 5 so I missed seeing the second half of Denver vs Pats!! :)

Great place, Great rates, 2015-12-07
Captain: , Gloucester, VA (130)

Stopped here after having to bail out of Matanzas River anchorage...everything you need and nothing you don't. Internet works great, friendly and helpful folks on staff. Will stop by again on the the way North.

VERY NICE STOP, 2015-11-16
Captain: , Sandusky , Ohio (100)

Terry and Julie, Sandusky , Ohio

Heading to Ft Lauderdale we stopped at Palm Coast for one night. Very nice Marina, easy access off the ICW. Very friendly people! I would stay again!!

Great stop enroute south, 2015-11-14
Captain: , Miami (168)

We took a few days in the ICW to avoid 4-6ft at 5 seconds. Not many anchorages around her for us (82ft, 6ft draft) and were pleasantly surprised to find this marina. Warm, welcoming staff and good dock with amenities.

Very Friendly, 2015-11-12
Captain: , Deltaville,Va (20)

We enjoyed our stop in Palm Coast.....they were very friendly to transients and they are definitely pet friendly. One I will keep in the records for the next time we are coming through.

Good Value., 2015-11-04
Captain: , annapolis (453)

Debbie and staff are very nice. Showers clean, laundry very reasonable, very nice stop. Yes the foloating dock is used, but remember they only charge $1.32/ft boat us. All things considered,
great value and LOON will stop again..

Good value, 2015-10-24
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (1244)

Others have well described the marina. Helpful and accomodating staff. The price is right. 10 minute walk to mall with several restaurants.

Management response:
Good Morning Capt Malcolm: Thank you for the kind words and have a great winter season

Good, Not Great, 2015-08-11
Captain: , New Bern, NC (73)

On the plus side, easy access, personable staff, very affordable prices. On the down side, the docks are pretty rough, including the finger piers which are too short to be useful. Being fixed docks, and in an area that experiences tides, shorter boaters (my wife, for example) may have difficulty boarding their boats from the dock.

Excellent staff, 2015-08-07
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

Easy in and out for fuel.
We have stayed several times and although the marina needs updating, it is well priced, convenient but lacks access to shopping.
Be nice if they had a marina car.
Fuel prices were decent.

Just off ICW , 2015-08-05
Captain: , St. Augustine (90)

Nice people, but the marina has seen better days.

Easy Off- Easy On, 2015-07-21
Captain: , Deep Ellum (101)

Palm Coast Marina is reasonably priced and provides easy off-on access to the ICW. Services are suffcient for transients that are just passing through. There are no restaurants, lounges, or grocery stores within easy walking distance. We stopped on our way north and had a very enjoyable evening.

A very nice marina, 2015-07-21
Captain: , Daytona Beach Florida (10)

Came up from Daytona to meet with some friends and spent one night. Had made reservations prior to arrival. was assigned a great slip, side tie up and assistance was there on the dock to help. Easy check in at the office. Bathrooms clean and the showers have great water pressure and the hot water was great. Everyone is friendly and helpful and after we were settled in stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. a nice sitting area outside the office and coffee available in the morning. Pet friendly and have a nice dog walk area. Thanks for everything

Lovely place 7/14/2015, 2015-07-14
Captain: , Hollywood (462)

No sweat with 6' draft. Tied to the wall with cleats and piling. Plent of water entering and maneuvering. Quiet, neat and clean. An oasis between Daytona and St. Augustine. They have installed lots of wifi towers, really dependable full voltage dock power, the best since we left Lauderdale. Reasonable prices and full service. A small shopping area within 12 minutes walk has restaurants, gift shops and such. I am impressed!

Friendly staff, 2015-06-28
Captain: , Honolulu (712)

The dock hand and harbormaster were some of the friendliest we have come across! The facility is well protected off of the ICW. Kayak and electric boat rentals on site.

Fine Marina, 2015-06-27
Captain: , Sarasota, FL (270)

We stayed one night, northbound to the Chesapeake. Arrived after hours and were met by Neil, who expertly helped with docking. This marina is a slice of "old Florida"; quaint, down-home friendly, and comfortable---just a very nice place to stay. Debbie gave us explicit directions for location --- easy in/easy out. Dave cheerfully helped us on the dock to refuel, re-water, and pump out. Couldn't have asked for more!! Will be back.

Very Nice , dog friendly marina, 2015-06-23
Captain: , Montgomery Alabama (1102)

We stayed three nights , with two small dogs .Our dogs were welcomed among the liveaboard dogs that inhabit this marina .
We were welcomed by the human liveaboards .
Shopping is 2 miles from the marina at Walgreens and Publix .

The gas , ice and slip rent was very reasonable . The most reasonable we have seen so far .
We saw no problems with the docks as they were in good condition .

I highly recommend this marina and will make a point of stopping here again on our return leg .

Great stopover along ICW, 2015-06-02
Captain: , Edmonton (279)

Fairly well protected, and just off the ICW. Facilities are decent, and staff are great. Close walk to restaurants/bars at European Village.

Great place to stop, 2015-05-28
Captain: , Bedford, NH (775)

We came in late but there was someone to meet us. Stayed the night at the fuel dock which was fine with us as we refueled in the mornng anfd headed out again. Great little European Village a short walk away with many reastaurant choices. The pizza place also delivers to your boat. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Delightful, 2015-05-21
Captain: , Buffalo, New York (1809)

We were delighted to find this special marina --- laid back, very very nice marina team, terrific walking and biking path, easy to get to Publix, and, a relaxed harbor. Thank you to Debbie and Ro for making room for us, and, considering our boat requirements. We will definiately return!

Palm Coast Pleasure, 2015-05-17
Captain: , Camden ME (465)

We've visit this marina every year on our trip to and from the Bahamas with our first visit back in 2007. The staff and livaboard guests are great! There are wonderful biking/walking paths and a Publix grocery store is a mile away. Its a good place to fuel up wiith ValTec diesel at a protected dock with no current. The facility is very well run and a great place to take a break from the ICW.

Friendly, protected marina. WIFI+++, 2015-05-10
Captain: , Niceville Florida (300)

I have stayed here several times over the years and always have enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms are very clean as is the laundry area. The ship store is very handy and well stocked. The docks are older but very sturdy. The WIFI is the BEST of any marina I have ever stayed!
Lots of lovely places for walking your dogs if needed. Good restaurants close by within walking distance.

Charming 6 star marina in lovely area, 2015-05-07
Captain: , Punta Gorda, Fl (960)

Update May 2015: Marina still same friendly and helpful staff and very clean facility. wifi very fast. Burrito 101 is great new Mexican restaurant in the European Village. Bike trails scenic and going thru residential areas also a pleasure.
You must stop here when traversing the east coast of FL. We would rate higher if the stars were there! One cannot ask for more accomodating staff. Mike was there to help us dock, Dave giving directions and making sure we have a good visit. He also helped us depart. Fuel dock/pump out easy access How often do you get greeted as you dock" you will have a great time here and how can we help you". Ladies in the office very very nice--we cancelled/rescheduled many times due to weather. Office has a nice ship store with parakeets there to welcome you. Free coffee and good lending library also. Grills available and shaded patio to relax. Fixed docks are no problem, tide about 18". We biked two days along the ICW Riverfront paved trail and also to a Publix/shopping center. Laundry outside exposure but protected. Showers great and clean. Kayak rental. Walking distance is the European Village that is making a good comeback from the economy. We enjoyed La Piazza, Farley's Irish Pub, and the Yo Belle frozen yogurt shop. If we had more time we would have dined at Mezzaluna Italian (they deliver to the marina and CLOSED on Monday) and Le Rendez Vous french restaurant, and visited the women's clothing store.

Very Nice Marina, 2015-04-24
Captain: , Oriental, N.C. (111)

We were towed in here with fuel problems. While waiting for a mechanic to show up, a fellow named Neel Larson came by and said he could polish our fuel. He has a company called Fuelbrite, but he lives right there at the marina. He cleaned the fuel in our tank for $250.00, which I thought was reasonable. Very handy.

We were tired by then and decided to stay the night. Very nice marina with good staff, clean with lots of amenities. The nearby food court was very handy and we had supper at a nice Italian Restraunt.

very good stop, very protected, 2015-04-03
Captain: , Ft Myers, Florida (1804)

Small marina with few tie along transients slips. Fuel but very expensive, good power and dock hands. Very friendly. Very good stop because the of the court yard that is a 1/2 mile walk away. The court yard has 10 or so restaurants, many shops, three ice cream shops! Makes for a fun stop. Would be great bike riding and walking in a residential area.

Okay place, good people., 2015-03-23
Captain: , Jacksonville Florida (417)

UPDATE; Had a much better time here, the docks are the same, but didn't run into any stray gotcha's. The free coffee and lounge area was a big hit this time around, very pet friendly. We especially enjoyed the happy hour gathering up at the office. Met some really great people again, the ship's store had everything we could have needed. There's more to rent there now in the way of Kayaks, electric boats, and there's very little tide and current there. Al's Mobile Marine Service is based out of Palm Coast, a superman of a mechanic! Awesome wifi, clean too! We're definitely coming back. Kb s/v Renasci
Great bunch of guys, some previous boater put a rail style bumper on the pilling and left the plastic ends, which almost scratched the side of the hull. The docks were fixed, there were a couple of stores within a fifteen minute walk, ships store on-site, clean facilities. Watch where you walk, mats are used to cover cords going across the dock, only one side has power poles, local bike rentals available.

T and A Schultz, Sehome, Rockland Maine , 2015-03-05
Captain: , Rockland, Maine (60)

A comfortable Marina with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Long face dock for transients. Clean bathrooms and showers, coffee available in the morning. Wifi available. Small onsite shop with wine, beer and small essentials. Short walk to European Village and Mezzaluna's for the best pizza. Stopped here heading south and then again heading north.

Arrived late and in a blow..., 2015-02-16
Captain: , Iuka, MS (1130)

but got very good assistance at the transient dock. Nice on-site gift-shop/shipstore. Walking distance to restaurants in the Eurpean Village. Miles of bike trails, but we didn't get the opportunity to check them out. Nice time! If you like low-key, but well-executed marinas, this is the place.

Great friendly stop, 2015-02-06
Captain: , St. Louis (340)

Right off the ICW so there is no wasted time. We always look forward to stopping here, primarily due to the welcoming dock & office staff. The marina store is full of good quality merchandise and cruising guides. Fresh coffee every day, inviting patio for sundowners. The laundry is clean, reasonable and in good repair. While the showers are a little dated, they are always spotless. Love this stop.

We will be back, 2015-01-18
Captain: , Huntsville, AL (588)

Great marina and great people. Stayed two nights, easy walk to European Village, wnet ot 727 for dinner and live Jazz. We will stop here again and again.

Great Value, Super Convenient, 2014-12-09
Captain: , Stuart FL (778)

How good is Palm Coast Marina? This review is being entered using the PCM WiFi! When was the last time you could sign onto a marina wifi and have it work? That's just the start. Lovely landscape, well maintained piers, clean facilities (including fitness room) friendly and helpful staff...all at a rate that makes this stop an exceptional value. Even more so when contrasted to some of the more "rustic" stops along the way. Highly recommended!

A lot to like, 2014-12-05
Captain: , Cape Canaveral (1191)

Our first stop and it won%u2019t be our last. Plenty of room for our 49%u2019 trawler with 4%u2019 draft. Debbie the dock master is great, marina is well protected and very nice - fixed docks in good shape, shop has enough stuff, restrooms are clean and adequate, and people warm and friendly. We had fine time at Farley%u2019s Irish Pub in the European Village (ten minute walk) with owner Mort and Denise the bar tender. Next time we%u2019ll stay longer.

Bigger Boats, be not Afraid, 2014-11-21
Captain: , Roseland, NJ (332)

If Debbie says you can fit, you will. I made a reservation for our 44 foot sailboat on which the only bow thruster is the Admiral, based on the marina specs in the Waterway Guide. Debbie said she could take us on the fuel dock since we were not arriving until 4 in the afternoon. An hour out I reviewed the AC info and discovered this marina is for smaller vessels. Getting closer, we called Debbie who told us how to approach: heading South turn right into the fairway, head down to the fixed bridge no sail can get under, turn around, and approach fuel dock to starboard for an easy off in the morning. I checked our Raymarine plotter and it looked way more complicated. Clarified with Debbie, she said ignore the plotter. We do not turn on a dime but had plenty of room, and no current, as Debbie predicted. There is only a foot and a half of tide in the marina. Captain reports the showers are adequate but dated. All the dock hands are knowledgeable and on the spot when you need them, even for our 7am departure. Excellent casual Italian meal (veal parm, sausage and broccoli Rabe with penne) at Mezzaluna, a short walk away. All good here. Trust in Debbie.

Great Staff, reasonable rates and old Florida feel, 2014-10-29
Captain: , St. Augustine,FL (261)

One of our regular stops on the ICW very friendly and helpful staff. Great live aboard community. Reminds me of what a Florida Marina was like years ago.

Great staff, 2014-10-12

Facility ok but well maintained, great staff, will do anything you need, all kind of repairs available, mechanical, a/c, electronic. Free Wi-fi. Terriffic community. All shopping and store available, bikes and kyacks. Great walking area & free exercise room with good quipement.

10-11-14 Here again, same coments, good place to stop or stay.
4-28-14 Stayed again this past winter, great people and anything you want is available, highly recommend.

Was there again for four days 10-17-13, all previous comments still accurate, great staff and great boating community in the marina.

Well Protected, Nice., 2014-10-09

Good dock help, easy face dock.
Not much around here but the marina, showers, laundry was fine. No issues.

Nice Stop Between St. Augustine and Daytona, 2014-06-16
Captain: , Placida, FL (276)

Stopped in on May 13, 2014 to water, pump, fuel, and to get our mail. Assigned a side-tie on the outside (canal, not ICW). Was initally concerned about wakes from boat traffic in and out of the canals, but only had a few wakes during our four day stay. Dock hand met us and helped with lines and power - A nice change). Docks in good repair, nice facilities. Coffee in the mornign was a nice bonus. Everyone was friendly and professional. Nice seranade inside the boat from drums (the fish) each night.

No grocery stores or shopping within walking distance, but there are a few restaurants and the European Village. A car would make thigns much easier, but even without, we'd stay here again.

A Diamond in the Rough, 2014-05-22
Captain: , Annapolis (125)

Going north there is hardly anywhere to stop for hours after Daytona. We oran out of options and called Palm Coast Marina at 5 PM ETA 7:30, she explained she would leave a package with bathroom keys etc. Because we didn't need power or water she offered a tight slip for $20 a night it was easy to get in and worked perfectly for us

Perfect Stop, 2014-04-30
Captain: , Punta Gorda, Florida (20)

For a sailboat, this marina is a perfect stopover between Daytona and St. Augustine. It is located right off the ICW with easy access and deep approach channel and slips. The staff are very friendly and help any way they can. There is even an exercise room. We will definitely stop here again if ever in this area.

Enjoyed our overnight stay, 2014-04-20
Captain: , Fort Myers Beach, FL (361)

Palm Coast is an up scale area. We enjoyed visiting the europa village nearby with shops and restaurants.
We biked the local roads for some exercise.
Marina staff was very courteous and helpfull.
We wnjoyed our short stay and will return if ever back in the area.

Checking in and service, 2014-04-09
Captain: , ft pierce (54)

was able to see me comming from the turn-off of the ICW, gave great directions to my slip but a sign at the entry to the fingers with slip numbers would make it just a little bit easier. Slips are in a good shape as well as the store and restrooms.

Very Friendly Dock Personnel, 2014-03-29
Captain: , Marathon (275)

Passing by Palm Coast we pulled in here on short notice due to thunderstorms and predicted high winds and a Tornado watch. Tornado really got my attention. The fellow meeting us and handling our lines was very competent and soaked to the bone but he made every effort to service our needs in the rain. Everyone was busy, wet and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. There's a little German theme area near the marina but weather kept us near the boat. We'll be back. Maybe I'm generous with the rating but I value friendly.

great place to stop., 2014-03-18
Captain: , Annapolis, Md (30)

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and an excellent value. This was our first visit, but certainly will NOT be our last! Larger boats would have difficulty getting to inside docks, but the face dock was an easy on and off.

What a great place, 2014-03-01
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (1190)

On our last day after spending a month here. Great people (Deb,Ro,John,Matt to name a few of the staff), very friendly live aboard community, clean facilities, nicely landscaped and good prices. Docks are fixed but tide is only apx 18". Gas, diesel, free cable TV, on site yacht broker, kayak and bike rentals and a small store area within the marina office. Very dog friendly as well. A short 1/4 mile walk to the European Village finds several restaurants and shops. Food shopping and drug stores requires a car or cab ride. Both are apx 2 miles away but a bit too far to walk for most folks. And let me not forget the frequent dolphin visits. Overall just a great place. We'll be back for sure.

First Class Marina, 2014-02-23
Captain: , Deltaville, VA (602)

Palm Coast Marina has all the amenities you expect from a first class marina. Gas, Deisel, Pumpout, 30 and 50 amp service, WIFI, Cable TV, clean restrooms and showers, ships store, friendly and helpful staff. Boaters lounge area with free coffee in the ships store but they lock up at 5:00pm. Gas grill and patio area.
There is a condo development with restaurants and shops on the ground floor about 1/2 mile away.
Quiet and peaceful. I would give them 5 stars if they had floating docks.

Great Place to relax, 2014-01-20
Captain: , Washington, DC (63)

Spent a couple of weeks there getting repairs and waiting out bum weather. They put me in touch with Edsel, a terrific mechanic of the old school. Actually tried to repair things before recommending new systems. Good work by an intelligent, honest man.

Not the most up to date marina, but plenty good enough, especially when you consider the staff

And, like all the others, we found the marina staff & the live-aboards very helpful. Will definitely return.

Big Fat Smiles, 2014-01-06
Captain: , Keyesport, IL (70)

This is a happy marina; and you are greeted with a smiley face as you leave the docks - great restaurants and shops nearby. I'm glad I stopped and will surly do so again. My boat is the right size though, 31' with 5' draft.

Good ICW stop, 2013-12-18
Captain: , Jacksonville Fl (1550)

We went there to see the boat parade this year. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Still a good stopover for a few days. Lots of great biking trails ( about 150 miles ) and good restrurants nearby. Publix a 4 mile ride or 10 bucks by taxi. Best part is the staff, all very friendly and knowledgable. Will stop there again.

Very Friendly Staff, 2013-12-13
Captain: , Muskegon, MI (778)

Stopped here on 12/10/13. Called ahead for a slip for the night, got what they said was the last one. When we arrived, the slip was in a corner and angled away from the thoroughfare. This made it almost impossible to get in, the staff helped and eventually we were wedged in.
The staff attitude is great, making it much easier to be happy with our accommodations.
The other comments about the amenities are all accurate. Last time we were here they put us on the face dock, and I much preferred that location, but it worked, and they helped again in the morning to get us free and on our way.

Very welcoming and helpful, 2013-11-04
Captain: , Cape Porpoise, Maine (250)

We arrived at mid afternoon after calling ahead and asking for suggestions for repair services. When we called Al's Mobile Marine Services, Al was eager to help, ordered the broken part (for early morning UPS next day delivery) and installed it just after it arrived. The marina folks made room for us for an extra day without being asked. Reasonable fuel and pump out. Restaurants nearby. We will return!

Palm Coast Marina, 2013-08-22
Captain: , Kemah, TX (291)

This is a friendly great marina with a fine liveaboard community as well as a good overnight stop between St Augustine Inlet and Ponce inlet on the south. A Publix Grocery is closeby and of course fuel, ice, showers and a pumpout are all available. Protected and safe it is a welcome stop on any intracoastal stop in the area.

Great place to stop, 2013-08-06
Captain: , Venice (208)

Stopped here earlier this year. I have been comming here for several years now as I go N and S. I stopped first for the Valvtec fuel and I keep comming back for the facilities, staff and and nearby restaurants.

Wonderful Marina and People, 2013-06-30
Captain: , Wilmington, NC (520)

We left our boat at Palm Coast Marina for several months in-between vacations. Debbie, Rose and the rest of the folks watched after our boat, were a great source of information and were always willing to help with local references for work. The people they recommended were very diligent and knew exactly how to make the required repairs. We will definitely be back!

Wonderfull Staff and Facility, 2013-05-22
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (6909)

Our first stay here will become a regular stop for us. This is a top filght marina and facility and the staff are equally top filight. I recommend calling ahead during the migration seasons" as it must fills quickly.

A Better Alternative than Daytona, 2013-04-16
Captain: , Hollywood, MD (271)

This marina was a little farther than we really wanted to go in one day from Cocoa, but we've tried most of the marinas in Daytona and wanted to try something else. What a pleasant surprise. Even though we arrived after closing, three gentlemen showed up to handle lines for us. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Nice showers, laundry and ships store. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We'll definitely make this a regular stop.

So nice we decided to stay a while, 2013-04-07
Captain: , Hartfield (281)

We are trying to make a quick trip to the Chesapeake, but this marina is so pleasant that we decided to sit out a forthcoming front rather than push on. The staff do everything they can to be sure you are comfortable and the folks who have taken up residence in the marina are here because they truly love it. One fellow had a house here, but decided he liked living on the boat in the marina better.

Boat US discount makes it a true value.

The only possible drawback is that there are is no place to buy an form of grocery within walking distance. The nearest mall area has a smattering of pleasant restaurants.

This marina reminded us of the pleasant times we had in liveaboard marinas in Europe buy with the polish and efficiency that is common in America

Nice convenient stop, 2013-04-02
Captain: , Athens, AL (641)

Staff very helpful, nice docks, got pumped out at the slip. Nice private restrooms/showers. Good-looking tshirts too. Not convenient to much unless you have bikes. The city of Palm Coast has more bike paths than anywhere we have been so had lots of fun seeing the area - beaches are a little unique with coquina rock as the sand element, almost orange/salmon colored. Could live here, beautiful.

Nice surprise!, 2013-03-31
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (110)

We had never stayed at this marina due to its location midway between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach. Coming north on 3/26/2013 we encountered strong north winds and decided to call it a day early in the afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful even though it took us a long time to tie up in the slip with the strong north winds kicking us out.
The marina is small and friendly and offers an Active Captain discount which was a nice surprise.

Great Place, 2013-03-27
Captain: , Midland, Ontario, Canada (20)

We stayed here southbound (Dec 2012) and northbound (March 2013) this cruising season. Very welcoming people. They found us a great mechanic when we broke down. Tow Boat US is located here. Facilities are clean. Staff are helpful. Good docks. More lighting in the women's showers whould be very helpful.

Safe marina and great staff, 2013-03-21
Captain: , Palm Coast, Florida (785)

We kept our boat here for 5 weeks while we took care of some things at the house. The marina is very protected for wind and wakes. Live aboard community is very helpful. Marina staff are great.

Great pub at the European Village., 2013-01-06
Captain: , Roseville, MN (372)

Had absolutely no problem with tying up to the fuel dock area as we wanted 30 amp power. Nice dock hand did a great job connecting everything. Laundry and amenities building quite close. Nice little ship store and boaters' lounge. Best thing was the easy walk to the Europea Village and then deciding at which place we would do dinner. The Irish pub won. We won. And a short 10 minute walk back. Got off the dock easily.

Convenient & Friendly, 2012-12-22
Captain: , vashon is (100)

Staff very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. Docking conditions dicey (strong wind blowing boat onto the dock), but great staff were there to make it all seem quite easy. Cannot recommend more highly! Bathrooms warm (unseasonably cold weather) and clean; great lounge with book exchange and tv.

Nice view, if you like condos, 2012-12-15
Captain: , Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (366)

Stayed here for one night, due to weather. Took the last available spot. Later they put 3 more on the fuel dock. Very accomodating.
Ships store on property, nearest groceries almost 2 miles.

Great Staff!!!, 2012-12-02
Captain: , MV Red Head (3106)

We had been wanting to stop in here after reading the reviews but it just never worked out. This year we finally stopped in and are glad we did. The staff is friendly and every one is experienced - imagine dockhands who know exactly how to tie your boat and what to do when conditions are challenging.

We left with the current and wind pushing us onto the dock. We called the office and asked for some help and John came right out and helped us use a spring line to get safely on our way.

The scenery is very peaceful. There's a large field where we could let the dogs run and there are plenty of places to walk. The boater community is very friendly with lots of liveaboards.

The docks are fixed, as are pretty much all docks in this part of Florida, so you need to set your fenders accordingly. We had no problems. We will definitely be back to see Rozine again and to meet Debbie who was off the day we were there.

What a great staff and nice marina!

Bring lots of fenders, 2012-11-29
Captain: , Edgewater, MD (97)

Staff friendly; showers adequate and private; excellent restaurant (Italian-LaPiazza) within walking distance; downside was no rubrail protection on fixed faced dock or on any pilings and setting fenders had minimal effect.

Friendly, Clean, Small, 2012-11-28
Captain: , lakeland (30)

I pulled in after a long trip down the ICW, and was instructed via VHF to go to the south side of the middle dock. Upon entering the basin, it almost didn't look like there WAS a south side of the dock. It's very tight inside the basin, and I had a bit of trouble pulling in to my slip. Aside from that little drawback, I have nothing negative to say about the marina. Very friendly staff, great ship's store, close enough to local shopping. Great rates as well. I may just make this my new home port.

nice and reasonable cost, 2012-11-23
Captain: , Carolina Beach, NC (391)

There on Thanksgiving day. Only two people working but good help docking. If on the face dock/fuel dock, they are pilings so fenders have to be set horizontal (and are never in the proper position). Good price with BoatUS discount

Great value, nice people, 2012-11-20
Captain: , East Greenwich, RI (660)

Docks are average, but the people are excellent. Bathrooms are above average. We actually tried to go to the fancy marina and resort accoross the ICW and were told that we had to be there by 3 PM. I will stay here every time.

Very Good Stop Great Value, 2012-11-10
Captain: , little river (269)

We stopped on 10-29-12 for the night and fuel. Docks in great shape, eash approach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained bathrooms for marina guests only. Easy access to fuel dock. Nice ships store. We will stop again.

Good stop for the night, 2012-07-25
Captain: , GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL (736)

We stopped here the night Debby moved across FL. Very helpful staff, great facilities. Nice to walk up to the marina office/store in a.m. for free coffee, and comfortable place to sit. Dog friendly.

Stopover on way north, 2012-05-09
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (639)

We stopped to get fuel and dockage for the night. Fuel service was handy and efficient. The docks were good but a little bit run down. We went to the nearby shopping/restaurant complex and enjoyed a good meal at the Italian restaurant. Easy in and out from the ICW.

So Nice!!!, 2012-05-08
Captain: , Colchester (419)

My preferred place to stop. Friendly and accommodating staff and helpful, knowledgeable locals. Good slip prices and even a baby manatee from time to time!

Outstanding staff, 2012-03-28
Captain: , St. James, NC (253)

Very helpful staff, ably assisted by many of the liveaboards. Quiet marina, walk to restaurants, long way to groceries, good slip rates, expensive fuel. This is the third time we stayed here, it is always good.

Last minute stop, 2012-03-04
Captain: , Georgetown (290)

We stayed overnight here because we didn't like 2 possible anchorages south, and after discovering the BoatUS discount of $1.36 a foot for the night, decided to give it a try. The staff was very helpful on the phone and when we arrived late, after hours, even another boater came to help us tie up to the fuel dock. The showers were nice and so was the pizza we had delivered from Mezzaluna. However, diesel was $4.56. I wish we'd had more time to explore the area, but will definitely return when in the area again.

Only stopped for fuel, but it is a nice facility, 2012-02-15
Captain: , Gulf Shores Alabama (748)

On approach from ICW, on rising tide, be cautious of the bridge being so close to the marina fuel dock wall. Diesel prices were on the high side of what we had compared coming down the ICW, but we were in South Florida now. Management was friendly and helpful.

Relaxing Stopover, 2012-01-14
Captain: , Mystic, CT (150)

We stoped for the 1st time here and all of the reviews were right on. Great service docking and on the area. Will definately be stopping again!

A nice stop-over, 2012-01-07
Captain: , Red Lion, DE (712)

2012-01-07 Our second stay here. Very friendly personel. The only thing missing is a restaurant on site. Walked to one at the European Village last year and it was a pretty long walk, esp. with a full stomach on the way back. We will return.

Hidden gem, 2012-01-07
Captain: , Houston, Texas (81)

Can't say enough good things about the staff and, for the money, the marina facilities. It's difficult to get a slip here in the winter; we were originally turned away but then were told that, if we didn't need shore power, we could have one of the docks against the east bulkhead for $20 a night or $200 a month. Couldn't refuse that, tho it was a tight squeeze for our 38 ft sloop and we deployed all our fenders just in case. Have to ditto all the other comments, dated but clean and complete facilities, full service fuel/water/pumpout dock (with an occasional transient squeezed in), ship's store, fast wifi even way out where we were in the cheap seats, good restaurants within reasonable walking distance, kayak (and I think bike) rental on site, nicely treed landscaping with the oaks and pines and palms in a largely suburban setting. Only down-side is that, despite what it says in the boilerplate section of this listing, it's a long way for groceries, the nearest Publix is a mile or so inland. But it's all charming, stick around and you'll get to know the staff, meet all the friendly live-aboards (and their dogs), take some walks on the miles of paths along the river and through the parks, who knows, you might end up staying a lot longer than planned.

Hidden gem, 2011-12-19
Captain: , Fremantle, West Australia (1448)

Very welcoming place, with great staff and very nice community of liveaboards and season visitors. Not many places available so ring ahead. Hadn't planned on this stop but glad we did. Xmas party on 2hrs after we arrived and we were invited along also which was nice. BoatUS discount.

Quaint, quiet, peaceful, 2011-12-05
Captain: , Westbrook, CT (453)

Got a one night stay at a slip of a boat which was away - fixed dock, wonderful showers, very helpful people. Not the place to go to party... Lots of liveaboards and seasonal slip holders, pleasant place.

Nice Small Marina - worth the stop and return trip, 2011-11-13
Captain: , Michigan (583)

If you walk to Mezzaluna's don't waste your time on pizza! They have a fabulous full service menu!

Back in Palm Coast Again., 2011-11-06
Captain: , Kingtston Ontario (273)

Wonderful staff. First night walked up to the European Village & had awesome Pizza. Had our engine checked by Al the (resident) mechanic, he is a gem & really really good.

Great Stop, 2011-10-29
Captain: , Cincinnati (1810)

We stopped here for one night and ended up staying for over 3 months. We needed some sudden repair work done on the boat and this was a great place to have it done. The staff doesn't know the words "can't do". Very live aboard friendly and nice group of live aboards here. Unfortunately there is not shopping near so if staying for a while you will want to rent a car. Lots to do and see in the area and St Augustine is only 20 miles away. The facilities are dated but very clean and maintained. The one thing we wished they had was a pool. Staff has been here for many years and understand boaters needs. With our problems and the staffs help, this marina will always have a soft spot in our hearts and will always be a stop in our travels if in the area. If you need any work on the boat, ask the marina for Al's Mobil Marine Service's phone number.

The best you could ask for!, 2011-10-20
Captain: , N Fort Myers, Florida (516)

This place is a hidden gem. They are off the beaten path, so to speak, but well worth finding. We stopped for an overnighter, but stayed 2 1/2 months (our travelling companions needed extensive repairs). They advertize they treat you like family, but that is an understatement. All go out of the way to help.
Their facility is a bit dated, but exceptionally well maintained. Showers and rest rooms are cleaned every day. They had excellent recommendations for service folk.
They recommended Al Blandeburgo, which my travelling partner and I both used, and found to be good, and as honest as they come. I recommend him unconditionally. The only reason for 4 stars is a lack of a swimming pool, but other wise is first class!!!

Pet friendly, 2011-05-27
Captain: , Hudson (274)

The staff are very helpful and the fellow boaters are nice. Being a small boat we were put on the floating dock which put us close to everything. Prices were good and service was good. Will make this a regular stop.

Easy in and out, 2011-05-21
Captain: , Madison, Ohio (400)

Right on the ICW, All of the staff here is very friendly and helpful, they have a small store, fuel and there is a shopping village with a few good restaurants a short walk away. Would stop again

Pizza at the European Village, 2011-05-13
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (384)

Stopping at Palm Coast, usual stop if needed between St Aug and Daytona, means pizza (unless it's Monday night). Marina Staff very good, smaller vessels may be on floating dock inside the fairway.
Spring 2011 had $20 rate for approx 30 ft slip, long finger pier, with no power!

Nice stopover, 2011-05-13
Captain: , Knapps Narrows Md (450)

Easy In/put. pet friendly. European village has some nice restaurants.

Nice stop..., 2011-03-18

a good stop, 2011-01-20
Captain: , Portsmouth, RI (260)

Found this marina as a necessary stop for repairs. Dock help and staff were well informed, courtious and helpful. Great walking paths next to the marina. Boat US.

friendly & clean, 2010-12-09
Captain: , Wilmington Deleware (330)

This marina is a bit dated. The docks are fixed and especially on weekends the day boaters make for a lot of wakes. The staff are all very friendly and there is a small ship store. The grocery is a 3 mile bicycle ride away. There is not a loaner car, but you might catch a ride with a resident boater. There is a laundry with 2 washers and dryers that really work at a $1.25 a load.

Cheap at Half the Price, 2010-11-25
Captain: , Cobbs creek va (193)

Without water or electricity a sliip was only $20

Nice marina, 2010-11-18
Captain: , Deltaville (200)

This is a very convenient stop just off the ICW.

The staff are very friendly as are the residents here. I suspect that many of the slip holders are long termers and they seem to fit in transients whereever there is space.

Got a very frendly reception here and a good amount of help docking. If going into a slip, you'll have fixed concrete docks and piles to tie to.

If going to the fuel dock and there are already transients tied to the face dock, beware that there is relatively little room to turn around before you hit the low level bridge over the canal.

Showers and laundry are nice and clean.

WiFi available (free). Ship stores has a fairly thin selection of clothing and boating items.

For my wife, the star attraction was the well equipped gym room which is included in the fee.

Nice stopover, 2010-11-17
Captain: , New York, NY (36)

Right off the ICW, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. We got a special rate on a 30' slip (with no shore power outlet.)

Excellent Facility, 2010-07-21
Captain: , Palm Coast, FL (385)

Right off the ICW with easy access fuel dock. Very nice transit docks with helpful staff. Good restaurants near by and readily available mechanical help if needed.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, 2010-05-26
Captain: , Warsaw, Ky (875)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good overnight stop. Right off the ICW. European village close with nice selections of restaurants.

Good Transient Stop, 2010-04-04
Captain: , Clearwater, FL (150)

The facility shows signs of wear and tear but the price at $1.31 plus electric and the very friendly staff make up for it. European Village is a short walk and provides good food and drink alternatives to eating aboard. If you're between Daytona and St. Augustine this is a good place to stop.

Nice stop, 2009-11-20
Captain: , Ophelia, VA (849)

This was our 5th stop here. Our favorite mechanic, Al's Marine Service, is the best. We love La Piazza Cafe at the European Village. We rented bicycles and rode to the top of nearby ICW bridge to watch a NASA short - great location. Staff is always helpful and friendly - as our the resident boaters.

Palm Coast Marina, 2009-10-27

Despite the fact that the property is showing signs of neglect, the staff here are very helpful and the nearby European Village is woth a short walk for dinner and drinks. Quiet and secure for transient boaters.

Palm Coast Golf Resort Marina, 2007-06-03
Captain: , Palm Coast, Florida (1)

For years this marina was a favorite stop for ICW travelers for fuel. Their rates were low and they offered a 10% Boat/US discount. The adjacent resort had two restaurants, one casual, the other a bit more upscale. In about 2004-5 Centex Development bought this charming property and slated it for redevelopment for condominiums and a "convention hotel." The upshot was that quickly the adjoining golf course went to weed. All the magnificent old oak trees were plowed under and the land was flattened just in time for Centex to wash their hands of the project due to the real estate slump. Now the land is baren, the buildings unfinished and poorly designed. The marina still operates and their fuel is still reasonable. But many of the slips cannot be used because of the development intrusion. It's a sad shambles and a testiment to a thoughtless developer. The good news is that they are trying to sell the property to another developer. Perhaps some company more thoughtful might be able to turn the corner with this site and restore it to its former beauty. Another nice prospect for Palm Coast is that the city is seriously investigating the establishment of a marina facility along the ICW, hopefully making it cruiser friendly with shuttles to downtown, a la Vero, and with water taxis a la Newport.
