Reviews for Page's Resort and Marina
Interesting spot!, 2016-08-20
Captain: , Pender Harbour, BC (351)

We usually stay at the neighbouring marina, but thought we would give Page's a try. Very nice spot, solid power and very nice staff. It was blowing over 20 knts. right in the bay (very uncommon) so they sent down two folks to help us land. Docks are average, but the location makes up for it. Scooter rentals right at the dock for island touring, close to the wonderful Silva Bay Pub (ribs are excellent). There are so many permanent boats anchored in the bay, that with our boat (48') there is little chance to anchor, so Page's is recommended! We will be back here again.

Great experience!, 2016-08-08

Amazing location- just a gem on the edge of the strait. Docks are a bit rustic but in decent shape, with some newer and a great deck at the head of the docks. Really well done marina office with great charts, guides, and local authors selection. As in huge selection. Clean laundry, showers. Power is solid, held up to loads well. No water, but to be expected. Dock help on arrival was pleasant and helpful, I think one of the owners but not sure. Super helpful and nice. Kids had a good time at the play area and made some new friends who were camping. The water here seems exceptionally clean and the purple starfish were possibly more abundant than I've ever seen and very healthy. We'd come back again and stay longer. Great stop!

I stopped to get water and offered to pay for it. The manager told me that he does not charge for water and let me fill my tank at no cost. I know fresh water is not exactly plentiful on Gabriola, or any other Gulf Island.

They took previous criticisms seriously., 2014-06-24
Captain: , Breakwater Marina (83)

Having read previous reviews of this marina, our expectations were quite low. We were pleasantly surprised to find so much work being done on the docks and the electrical system, with the visitor slips getting the initial electrical upgrades.

Improvements Being Made, 2012-10-18
Captain: , Guemes Island (100)

Stopped in for the night after crossing the straights since the currents were running in the passes. Office has lots of books, but no food provisions. Food delivery from an island restaurant was available, but not on the night we were moored (Tuesday). The head of the dock was recently rebuilt, but the guest dock was in poor shape. Electrical hookup looked dicey. Fuel and water available, clean showers, laundry and restrooms. The store at Silva Bay Marina, a short walk away, was closed and empty.
