Reviews for Oyster Bar Marina
Great staff, nice restaurant, current can be strong, 2017-01-10
Captain: , Madisonville,LA (76)

Very nice little marina. Kept my boat there for a month. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Excellent restaurant on site.

The only issue is there is sometimes a strong current as you enter the marina. Once inside, everything is fine. Not a problem at all, just something to be aware of.

Convenient stop on ICW, pleasant stay, 2016-09-11
Captain: , Port Aransas, TX (1343)

Arrived on a weekend, late afternoon, and we were told the marina staff had all gone to a boat show. Leslie from restaurant helped us tie up - in a lace dress, no less (a first!). She was very helpful and friendly. Transient slips are face dock only, relatively new, no cleats so must tie to pilings. Had some wakes from ICW but not too bad. Lots of boat traffic during daylight hours. Restaurant was very good and very dog friendly (outside patio seating). Restrooms are clean; no shower or other services. $1.50/ft rate includes power. Restaurant staff didn't know if a discount (BoatUS or AC) was available so we paid full price. Good Wifi signal with our booster.

Nice Stop Over on ICW, 2015-10-22
Captain: , Panama City, FL (60)

Arrived after the marina was closed for the evening, but the restaurant was still open. Ate a few oysters and they let us stay tied up to the fuel docks (no charge) for the evening as long as we were gone before 9 AM when the marina opened.

Nice Stop , 2015-10-11
Captain: , Saint Petersburg, Fl (227)

We stopped here on our voyage east to St Pete's. Well, that's about it, we paid for a night, got all hooked up and I started looking at weather for the next leg. Guess what, the next window to Panama City was "now"! The folks at the marina were fully supportive, we topped off with diesel and got a refund for the difference and off we went.

The docks are brand new with both 30/50 amp service and water.

If presented we would stop again.

Food is always good. We stop here mainly for lunch on our way through the ICW. Staff always available if needed.

Nice folks, 2014-01-25
Captain: , Satellite Beach, Fl. (125)

Left our boat here for 5 weeks and enjoyed our stay when we were on it. Seawall slips are the only ones with cable TV. No showers is a disappointment but they are still trying to install them but are having difficulty with gov't agencies and re-installing showers according to the owner. Plenty to do in the area and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

A great restaurant and very nice docks, 2014-01-02

The hospitality was great. Facilities were first class. No showers though, bummer.

Great Stopover, 2013-06-15

Clean, well maintained marina. Good restaurant. Great staff, very helpful. Can hold boat up to 60'. Will stop there again.

Nice stop on the ICW, 2013-06-10
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (408)

We stopped for lunch here, good food, the prices were about right, we spent $25 for two sandwiches and drinks. Great view overlooking ICW traffic, indoor or outdoor seating.

Great Food!, 2012-12-20
Captain: , Kemah, Tx. (145)

We tied our sailboat on the bulkhead for one night, after calling ahead. The staff came to help us tie up, and made us welcome. We enjoyed a wonderfull dinner. Definitely, the best oysters on the halfshell we have ever had. Nice stop.

Best of Everything: fuel, food, and fun, 2012-05-08
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (41)

Easy deep water dockage in the south side of the ICW with a small Marina handles a 60' Hatt. Better fuel prices than a mile further in AL. The Oyster Bar restaurant has fantastic food; BBQ shrimp appetizer is to die for. Only thing preventing it from 5 stars is the Marina's small footprint; only 2 fuel hoses can stay busy on a Summer Saturday.

great restaurant limited facilities, 2011-11-14
Captain: , Point Pleasant NJ (170)

excellelnt fixed docks, great restaurant, heads, no showers, no pumpout. $1.25 with Boat US. No Looper discount

Good restaurant is the draw here. There is a yacht dealer also.
Tough current sometimes but it's nice here. Worth the stop.
