Reviews for Owl Harbor Marina
Delta Gem. Dont pass Owl Harbor, 2016-06-27
Captain: , Santa Cruz (40)

What you will find at Owl Harbor;
Wildlife like geese, ducks, carp, bass, striped bass, bluegille, herons, blue herons, green herons, egrets, owls (yes owls), mud hens, ducks, songbirds of all sorts.
Best bathroom facilities in the delta. Bathrooms are new and as nicer than any marina bathrooms i have ever seen.
Ice and pumpout are available, but not much else. Sometimes free eggs and free vegetables form the garden if they are in season.
Friendly staff and friendly residents.
Plenty of privacy since all dockage is linear.
There are no restaraunts within walking distance, but there are markets open that are accessible by RIB. If you are looking for 'nightlife", you may want to pass owl harbor.
Also check their website and calendar of events for fun activities during the spring, summer and fall.

Beautiful and Friendly spot, 2015-08-20
Captain: , Fresno, Ca (20)

We love it here! It's very pretty, and is full of wildlife. The marina has showers, movies on a big screen some nights, and even a garden complete with their own chickens. The only drawback is the weeds.... lots of floating weeds to foul up your propeller.

Best of the Delta, 2015-06-11
Captain: , Alameda CA (30)

Quiet country setting in the best of the Delta. Genuine warm, welcoming people. New building facilities are luxury spa calibre. Great fishing, sailing and anchorages to explore. Nearby Rio Vista is like the archetype of rural towns. if you can't find it here you can get by without it.

Nice place to spend a few days., 2013-09-04
Captain: , Alameda (30)

Great overnighter if you%u2019re heading up or down the delta. Pulled in and found this to be a great marina to stop at. They have loaner bicycles to use, and have a large lending library of books. The entranced has been dredged, but the grasses grow back so your depth finder will read the weeds, not the bottom. Do go around the Andrus Island West Inlet and follow the levee back, it%u2019s deeper.

VERY Frendly, 2013-06-26

Pulled in asnd found this to be a GREAT marina to stop at. They have loaner bicycles to use. They give out FRESH eggs from the henhouse and share extra veggies from a large garden! Also have a large lending library, power and water. NO store but will receive shipments and will order parts on request.
As of 6/26/13

Nice place, 2012-12-29
Captain: , Vallejo, CA (82)

New owners have really cleaned up the marina in the past few years, making many improvements. Staff is friendly, but quirky on pricing.

Terrific spot, 2011-11-09
Captain: , Richmond, CA (76)

This marina has been revitalized ands is a delightful place to spend the summer of just a stop over. The new owners are terrific and have made much of this venue. Bikes for loan, dock improvements, Friday night movies, a small garden, and good security. We were there this summeer and fell in locve with the place.

Great Wildlife, 2008-04-22
Captain: , Rio VIsta (4)

Minimal services and amenities but great location for wildlife viewing.

Owl Harbor, 2007-10-16
Captain: , San Francisco, CA (23)

This marina is known to be probably the least expensive in the area and likely has the poorest facilities. Liveaboards are permitted however. It is thought that at least several liveaboards pump waste directly overboard.
