Reviews for Other Shore Club
Refused to Pump Gas, 2015-05-03
Captain: , Nashville (108)

Pulled in with the dink. Dockmaster sitting in his chair. I asked for a few gallons of gas and he said he was off - come back another time (few minutes past quitting time I suppose). Tip to the DM: dinks are usually part of a larger vessel (about 750 gallons in my case). Guess he's doesn't need the biz...

Great Resturant, 2015-04-06
Captain: , Slidell, La. (1055)

We didn't stay at the Marina but did Dink to Resturant on opposite side over looking the Anchorage. Drinks were cold and food was great. There is a Clean swimming pool and Hammocks to just hang out and relax. Very pet friendly.

good stop for the price, 2014-06-13
Captain: , Phoenix, AZ (960)

We stayed on the dock here for a couple of days. The price was right for Electric & water. $30.00 dockage, .20 per gallon water. Walking distance to New Plymouth for the shopping and restaurant therapy. Very clean town.

Still a good stop in Black Sound, 2014-06-02
Captain: , Merritt Island, FL (346)

Kevin is the dockmaster. He runs a very informal and relaxed marina. From the dock its an easy walk into town. The dock itself is in poor condition, which has been the case for years. Some would say its part of the charm of the place. In any event, we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed talking to Kevin.

Pineapples Restaurant, 2013-08-19
Captain: , Oakton, VA (299)

We took the dinghy over to the dock and had lunch at Pineapples. Best conch fritters we had in a week cruising the Abacos!

Captain: , Hollywood, MD (142)

OK -the dock is run down and the restrooms are only fair, but this place is great and the prices are low. The marina spans the width of the point and Pineapples Bar/Restaurant has the best food we've had in the Bahamas. Owner has 3 friendly dogs so our Lab goes leash free and sits/sleeps at the bar beside us. Happy hour 4-6.

tired but friendly, 2012-07-11
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (420)

Kevin, the dockmaster is the reason to stay. Docks are run down and shore facilities are poor, but the location is good with a 5 minute walk to New Plymouth, and Pinapples is an active bar on site. Rates are some of the lowest in the area.

Could be a lot better., 2011-04-13
Captain: , Texas (80)

Kevin the dockmaster is the best as is the bar/restaurant, Pineapples. The marina is for sale and the owner doesn't seem to want put any more into it so it is becoming run down. Better places to stay on Green Turtle Cay - like Leeward Yacht Club where we are at now and at a better long term rate.

Fuel anf Food, 2009-07-29
Captain: , San Francisco, CA (211)

The fuel is cheaper than the Bluffs or the Green Turtle Club. Dockage and power OK. Restaurant marginal.

friendly and well priced, 2008-10-28
Captain: , Carrabelle, FL (62)

OK docks. Kevin is a great dockmaster, good value and close to town.

Other Shore Club/Pineapples, 2008-02-12
Captain: , Old Saybrook, CT (1021)

Friendly and helpful dockmaster. Stern-in docking with pilings all 4 corners and T-dock. Excellent Pineapples outdoor bar and grill with pool up the hill overlooking New Plymouth.
