Reviews for Orient Yacht Club
Friendly and accommodating, 2016-05-27
Captain: , Niantic, CT (327)

Stopped here in a 19' O'Day Mariner with a friend and tied up at the 30-minute-maximum floating dock the week before Memorial Day. We were looking for gas, and we approached a gentleman affiliated with the Yacht Club who was overseeing the reconstruction of some docks. While he had no gas to offer, he was extremely friendly, invited us to stay as long as we wanted, and suggested we walk down the street to the pie and coffee shop (which we gladly did). He even invited us to use the Clubhouse bathrooms if we needed to. He was very accommodating, and I would most certainly go back there again.

Great Little Yacht Club, 2015-10-18
Captain: , cruising (300)

Cute little yacht club with lots of junior sailing in the summer time. Very informal. Clubhouse has no bar or restaurant and is just a shack on the end of a pier. Ask the steward if you can use the dinghy dock and you'll usually get an OK. Go up Village Lane to the little store and pie shop.

Wonderful friendly YC, 2011-01-17
Captain: , New York Harbor (495)

Anchor off the Quay and dingy to the YC dingy dock.
Walk to Ice Cream and visit historic homes. No protection from Westerly winds.
