Reviews for Opequimar Marine Center
Dave & Darlene 30ft. Catalina. Edmonton AB. Keep our boat in this marina, 2015-12-18
Captain: , Puerto Vallarta Mexico (10)

We've used this haul out a few times for haul out. Haul out staff were excellent and take pride in there work. We do our own work on boat. No problem. Be nice to them and they will bend over backwards for you. In 2015 was around $780 for in and out. Around $65 per day for storage. Crane for mast was $150 per hour. Very happy with it all. Yes the yard is a little dirty but what do you expect for a boat yard. It's Mexico.

Good Boatyard for Mexico, 2014-03-30
Captain: , Wilmington, DE (20)

Opequimar is a working boatyard. Expect to pay pretty much the same as you would in the states, but do not expect the same levels of service/quality. The yard has access to most boat services (fiberglass, bottom, engines, mechanical, electrical, etc.) and you are allowed to do work on your own boat (the other boatyard in the Bandaras Bay area does not allow the owner to work on his boat). The yard is dirty and noisy (as yards tend to be), and there is a serious lack of safety equipment for the workers. We were not provided access to our boat - had to borrow a rickety ladder from a private service provider. We had a difficult time rousing anyone on VHF when we approached - even though we had an appointment, but were pleased with the crew that hauled and launched our boat.

Opequimar Marine Fuel Dock, 2013-01-10
Captain: , Kirkland, WA (4478)

Approx 80 ft fuel dock with access on both water and shore side. Good service no problems with diesel.
