Approach

OYC is in the West Bay at the very southern end of Budd Inlet. To get to the visitors dock stay to the east side of West Bay, going past the cranes, city docks, and Percivals Landing. Right before the channel dead ends, the visitors dock is off to the right. Simply go south into the channel and take the last right that you can and the visitors dock will be on the south side of that fairway.

Reviews for Olympia Yacht Club
Olympia Yacht Club - Great Location, 2012-07-17
Captain: , Seattle (365)

Took a tour of the state capitol - very worthwhile. Best location anywhere for a grocery store! Lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. Propane at acme propane about 5 blocks away. Downers: dock rough, some poorly placed water outlets on boat side of docks and only one combo restroom & shower. However, tne Percival Landing heads are nearby, and the flowers were beautiful. People friendly. Beyond the yacht club, guest moorage is cheap in this town.

Docks need some work..., 2011-09-07
Captain: , Gig Harbor, WA (225)

The Recipricol docks are getting a bit tired and the wood decking is rough enough to snag your braided docking lines. However, the caretaker is very friendly and helpful, the dock has power for a nominal fee, and it is very secure. Great location for exploring Olympia with a short walk to different types of restaurants and bars as well as the Olympia Farmers Market. If you belong to a recipricol club, this is worth the visit.

Nice facilities!, 2010-12-27

Right at the absolute South end of Puget Sound. Nice reciprocal docks. Lots to do nearby, capital, market, restaurants.
